So Legend of the west is only when you're at Level 10 of all challenges?

And this is the only way to get level 3 Dead Eye?

The bars are the 'power' level of your shot(s). Your bar is blue and your opponents is red. Whichever bar is the fullest at the end of the duel (or maybe reaches the top first?) is the winner.

To fill up your bar, you hit RT when the crosshair is flashing white. If it is red when you hit the trigger, you fill up your opponents bar instead.

Guys check out this horse I found wondering around Tall Trees. I was hunting, saw two of these, ran over to it and lassoed it and broke it in. What breed is it?

            I didn't know that, thanks!

Has anyone done any rampage style stuff... like just shoot everything that moves? I did that last night and my bounty was up to $1,700. and then there was like no one around, no law or anything... about 5 minutes later, more lawmen were coming from me.

I'm doing some more missions to open up the other sections of the map. If I didn't have to do them to get to the other side, I probably wouldn't. I'm just having a blast free roaming around, and hunting, searching, treasure hunting, saving random NPC's, etc. The world is alive, and I love it.

I do that every once and a while when I'm about to turn the system off. There is a good perch on top of one of the buildings in Armadillo where nobody can hit you, and I was up to about $2000 bounty in 10 minutes of shooting.

Another favorite is to lasso somebody, leave them under one of the street lamps, shoot it and let the person die a slow, fire-ey death.

Looks like the American Standardbred to me. Mine was a very dark brown color in the day but looked black at night. To double check go to the general store and see if you can purchase the Standardbred deed. It'll only be unlocked if you have broken that horse in.

Do you have to worry about any sort of auto saving? Or since you're not doing a mission it shouldn't be a big problem? I guess I could always just make sure to save in my room so I know I have the last save somewhere it can't be overwritten...

It only Auto-Saves when you complete a mission or a challenge or something like that (similar to GTA) so I don't think you have to worry about auto-saving when you're just screwing around. It hasn't happened to me yet anyway, through about 20 hours of playthrough.

I always manual save before I start screwing around anyway, so if it does auto save, it don't overwrite the manual save.

Have you ever been able to watch the beginning of one of those? I was sitting there on my horse and I was texting somebody, when I hear on the tv some shooting back and forth. I thought they were shooting at me, but it was the two deputies chasing a guy, the guy running away was shooting back, shot one of the deputies in the leg, and he started limping. It was awesome, I hogtied the guy as well and they took aim and shot him in the head. That one deputy just limped all the way back to town, lol.
