Re: Red Dead Redemption
SpoilerThe one where the guy jumps off the cliff with the glider, and that split second where he realizes he's not quite going to make it before it nose dives into the ground.
Had me rolling, I don't know what that says about me, but... still funny as hell.
The one where the guy is in love with his horse was a close second.

SpoilerYes, I think that was Deadlus and Son, that was hilarious.
One of my other favorites was where the politician blackmailed the other with pictures of him with a hooker. Those pictures were hilarious.Comment

SpoilerConsidering all the setup that it took for cameras back then, makes you wonder how he got them. Especially the angles. lolComment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
SpoilerBack then? I think that is taking place in the bustling town called Blackwater in 1910ish or so They had running power lines, phone lines & cars & all the cops were sporting semi auto handguns. BTW fun thing to do in that town? Stack up on a ton of ammo for all yer firearms & go up on a roof top and start tagging people lol.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I tried to start up a new game and had some trouble, too. Not really sure why - I've been able to play other games like GTA III and SA over and over and over with no problems.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
If you can plow through those initial tutorial missions, I think you'll find yourself hooked again.
The problem is that it's pretty tough to do that, because there's quite a few early missions that feel like tutorials.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Finally beat the game. Probably my favorite game ever. Wanted to join in the discussion earlier, but just didn't want anything in this game spoiled.
SpoilerDon't think I've ever been as sad at the ending of a game before like I was with this one. Was going to try and get 100% completion. I just don't know if I want to play this game anymore if I'm not using John."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. I mean I didn't expect to want to play it a whole lot after I beat it, but I haven't even touched it since I finished Jack's mission after John's death. Although, I had all the stranger missions and challenges finished anyway, so I had basically finished everything I wanted to before I beat the game so that probably adds to why I don't have much desire to play it now.
Still, it's quite possibly my favorite game, might've leapfrogged GTA: SA which I didn't think was possible until I played this game.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
So I just finished the game tonight finally
Spoiler
I am not interested in trying to reach 100% with Jack, nor am I interested in playing with him.
Wish the game would've given me an opportunity to choose whether or not John dies but I was thinking the entire time he killed off his old boys that he should've took his family and moved elsewhere.. he got caught slippin
..and i never found out, who was that I know you guy? who was he supposed to be?Comment

I had a couple stranger missions and the last sharpshooter challenge and just couldn't bring my self to do them with Jack. Ending was amazing and bad all at once.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
SpoilerThat was a horrible ending
The guy played as an honorable character all of that time only for it to not matter at all.
He dies by getting shot up by a mob of authorities as if he was straight scum.
Did it really take all of that?
Then the whiney little boy takes over as the main character... there is just no connection there and no reason to want one.
Killing off the old man felt empty, and a waste of the entire story. I dont know what R* was thinking.
It just made zero sense in the end, for you to put that much work into the game then the main characted is brutally murdered by a fleet of cops after he has become an off to himself citizen.
I feel cheated in the end playing empty missions with the boy... there is just no fun in itComment
