really getting hooked on this game, it's starting to click eben though I rarely end up in top 3 as I usually did in Blops.


lots and lots of strategies to learn and know when to execute

The more I play, the more I want to play. This game is really growing on me. I'll probably just Gamefly it though considering I won't have any friends that will be buying it.

I haven't had any problems with the game and usually am the first in any game, so I think I have the best connection usually so the game has been a smooth experience for me. The other day I had no less than 14 kills and no more than 6 kills every single match for the whole night.

it's ok...the controls are sluggish, and I'm actually not wowed by the graphics. I would have actually prefered a more human game with the same engine...farcry style or crysis 1 with the jungle and humans. The gimicks I'm not too hot on.

The video is cool but i have that it takes a whole clip to kill someone but one gun bunt kills them too... I'll play it for the single player mode & pass on MP.

You must be doing something wrong because I can kill in about 6 shots.

I havent played the game, Im going off the video that was linked a few posts away. Take a look at how many bullets it took him to kill a few guys & clearly you can see how many bullets the last took & didnt even die.

Well, form my time playing the game, two to three bursts can down a person quickly.

also depends on whether or not someone has Armor enabled as well

and adding to this, you need Nano suit energy to power your armor.

Energy is drained from: sprinting, jumping, long throw grenade, cloaking and armor usage. so it is a delicate balancing act as to what to use your energy for at any given moment.

It regens rather quickly but you could die from 3-4 shots without it or survive 8-10 or a melee with full shields. it makes the game quite unique compared to other shooters. there are many options in how you want to play and what situation you want to put yourself in for each encounter. Your cloak and armor (one or the other not both) can be engaged/disengaged at a moments notice providing you have energy.

I still need the lag fixed and would prefer a few tweaks to the aiming and shooting but overall a unique shooter and well worthy of a spot on its own in FPS-ville.

Whats Changed Since the Crysis 2 Demo?

Crytek RobJ explained they were in the very, very last processes of debugging Crysis 2, only had a few more days before their own deadline. “The demo was compiled a while ago and a lot of things have been changed, and lots of bugs have been fixed” he added. As they were in the final stages before the game was completed to go for approval, he was to attend work on the Sunday later that day (so thanks for staying up).


I asked what else had changed since the demo compared to the game current play at work, he answered “Well the first thing I noticed it looks a bit different, we have a new strength texture/effect and also a new cloak effect. Another change that you’ll see is that they have improved the kill cam on the current version of Crysis 2.

They also pointed out that alot of lag issues had been fixed.
