      Yeah the patch was there for 360 users on day-one. It mostly just fixes some graphical issues. The lag issues are still being worked on.

      For now, the best solution to minimize lag in the 360 version is choosing the "competitive" game mode since it reduces the player count to 5 vs. 5.

        Guess it was wishful thinking to believe they could push out a second patch this quickly. Hopefully another is coming soon though...

              Good games guys, there was like 7 games in a row that I got best engineer award.

              Thai, great job with the soldier and medic.

              Also that dark map is broken.
              The first part where your at the chain linked fences and stuff is ridicules for the attacking team. If you so happen to make it past that then the last section where you have to deliver the package is virtually impossible.

              The attacking team really gets the short end of the stick on that map.

                FWIW, there was a day one patch for the ps3 too. I assume it fixed the same issues as the 360 one.

                  Thanks for the tip. Played a couple of hours in competitive mode, and did not see lag whatsoever. Now, if I can stop shooting my teammates with the minigun (and getting friendly fire points taken away from me), I'll be alright until the next patch comes out.

                    Just picked it up today (360) so I'll be trying out mp sometime in the next day or two. I want to get comfortable with the SMART control before I dive in.

                      Yeah that was good times man. Definitely gotta get some more games in soon. Playing as a soldier and medic was pretty fun. Not sure what I prefer so far, but good to know that I like more than just one class. Should keep the variety going.

                        So far I have created a character for each class. I know that you can switch them up, but I like to have one "career" for each person. The characters are all so different.

                          After going back and forth, I decided to pick up my pre-order last night at Gamestop. My friend bought the game after I recommended it based on the previews, so I felt like I had to get it. If I see him online I can break it open. Still I hate to waste time and money if its going to be a lag fest. I am still thinking about returning it for Infamous2.

                            How many guys in your game and how was the lag?
                            I've been playing the 5v5 mode. No lag at all.

                            Only beef I got is there's really not a party system to get into a game together. You basically search and then invite friends.

                              Brink just auto updated on Steam again a few minutes ago, no word on what was patched yet. Could just be PC specific crash stuff, but you might check your 360's just in case.

                              Edit: I think it just updated for the 2nd time in the last 2 hours (I get a little pop-up notification from Steam when something finishes downloading) - these are probably just PC fixes.
