The lag is okay most of the times, of the games I played yesterday 10 went smooth but 1-2 were really laggy...depends a lot on the host

Glad to see everyone is enjoying it as much as I am. I was worried I would be the only one singing the high praises of how good I think the game is. I mean it has some small issues to be worked out but as a whole the game is fun, rewarding, and fresh.

I think once people figured out what roles work best the game will shine. Phobia I think you will agree that this game will have a long shelf life on PC.

Quick match video playing as Resistance on security tower. You'll also notice weeman in the vid.

It is still processing so the quality should eventually get up to 720p.

I think once people figured out what roles work best the game will shine. Phobia I think you will agree that this game will have a long shelf life on PC.

You know my PC "elitist" (as Cyros will say) stands tall behind PC gaming and shooters in particular. Now with that said, I did get the game for 360 just because I knew it was teambased and I have more OS friends on 360 than PC.

The game is balanced well and I think that will get even better as they fine tune weapons and such. ONLY issue I want to see is how does it do AFTER BF3 is released. I will be playing Brink for a long time but BF3 will clearly take many of us from it.

I do think Brink will hold a firm place in shooters though. It is one of the only ones besides Left 4 Dead that FORCES teamwork. Without it then a team could be very frustrated with getting slaughtered. So with that certain niche it holds, I think it will give the game long legs.

I think the Soldier class is really underrated in this game once you unlock the grenade upgrades, armor piercing rounds, and kevlar.

Right now my two favorite setups are Medium Soldier and Light Medic.

For the light body type, I'm using the Carb-9 SMG as my primary and the Revolver with COG scope as my secondary.

Is it just me but the weapons look to have no trade offs compared to each? Some just naturally look way better stat wise than others. I am trying to figure out if there is any benefit of using a weapon that is lower in all categories than another weapon. Normally most games make trade offs, one might have great power but slow reload or size of clip or one might have extremely fast rate of fire and low damage, etc.

Definitely don't go by the in-game stats 'cause they are way off.

I've been trying each weapon out firsthand to figure out which ones I like best.

Carb-9 definitely seems to be the best all-around SMG. But the assault rifles all have their own uses. I still haven't figured out which assault rifle I like best.

This game rocks. I'm bringing my copy of the game over to my friends house so he can get a chance to play it. If he likes it he's gonna buy it.

Alot of people need to play a demo first before they buy games so I figure i'd provide the demo for him.
I need more people on my friends list that play this game.

Just got to rank 4 this afternoon and my soldier/medic are beasts now. Medic gets self-revive at level 4 as well a two-bar health buff for himself and teammates.

Soldier gets beast grenades, which also work with the grenade launcher attachment you can put on guns.

I'm loving the light body type combined with the medic class. It really opens up more of the maps being able to play as a light body type. I'm finally learning some of these maps and there are a lot more intricacies to them than I first suspected.

For example, on the ship map where you have to hack the vents, there's a way for the attacking to go underneath the ship and come up right above the objective.
