I have 1 and 2. Do any of you guys play 2 as well? I havent played 1 since 2 came out. But yeah, its a must have for those who like their FPS a bit more realistic.

I am not getting 2 until it supports Free Track. I been talking to Placebo at the BIS forums and they seem to be looking into maybe adding support for it.

It is in Arma 1 but was removed from Arma 2. Plus just like arma 1 it is going to take them a couple patches before they get it stable and optimized. Went through the same routine with Arma 1 so this way I give them some time to get it running better.

What is meebo and how do you play with it?

Meebo is the chat thing on OS. I mentioned it because it is something I have open often. But also hitting me up on Steam is a good option since I have it open 99% of the time I am on.

Depends avrbas. Do you have the Gold edition with Queens gambet? or do you just have the armed assualt combat operation?

Either way you will still be able to play with us it will just have to be a combat operation mission or a user made mission. Won't be able to do the Queens Gambet missions.

I believe its just the Combat Operation, its been so long since I bought it. If the Queens Gambet is on Steam then I'll just go ahead and buy that so I can play the other missions with you guys

Alright cool. I bought the Gold pack off Ebay, should have it by next week so I'll just stick to the regular missions to get familiar with the game again.

NICE!!! The Gold edition boxed version is 1.08. The only patch you will need is the international 1.14 which is Option #1 on this page.

After you installed the patch. I can walk you through some much required mods. Such as more realistic textures, effects, sounds, etc.

Sounds good, I actually might be getting the game around Thursday since its shipping from Colorado. Too bad Steam doesn't offer the expansions.

You can get ArmA Gold. Which has ArmA: Combat Operations and the expansion pack - Queens Gambet for 19.99 downloaded.
