Can't wait to play later. Portal is one of my favorite games this generation and Valve always delivers.

Bah.
I'll just wait for one of Steam's ridiculous sales.

ps3 users can play with players on steam and have their own little steam program used by pressing select. they also get a copy of portal 2 for pc or Mac through a activation code on the manual and you must link your psn with your steam account
you need 2 separate copies to play at the same time though. youcant purchase the ps3 game and then activate the code and expect to play coop with each otherComment

Well then I guess I don't really know what Steam is in general. I'm going to have to read up on it.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Portal 2
Is the steam client only available on PS3 through a Portal 2 purchase? Just went searching through the store and didn't see anything related to steam. I have the game on PC, but I was just curious if there was any way the achievements would transfer over (as trophies) if I had the PS3 client.
Loving the game so far. Just a heads-up about co-op from the reviews I've read - it apparently happens after the events of the single-player. Therefore you could end up missing some references from the SP. I'm definitely playing through the singleplayer before I think about co-op. I think it's cool that the 2 player mode actually HAS a story though.
Just a tip: When you're being talked to, don't rush ahead and go wherever you're supposed to immediately. Some of the dialogue for when you mess around is absolutely hilarious.Comment

Re: Portal 2
while the flyer is valid through 4/23, the ad clearly states the $15/$50 gift card offer is ONLY valid TODAY 4/19. YMMV, but you've been warned.
