Just checking in to everyone.

Day 4 of no electricity, heat, or running water here. Some reports are saying up to two weeks before power is restored. My town is 100% out. Still trees down on power lines ripped out for miles. Looks like a war went through here. Such a nasty heavy blizzard.

They have yet to clean up to even start running new lines. So pathetic. Worst this state has ever seen.

I am going to be so far behind in rank. But obviously I have worse **** to worry about. Just got called in for some crazy overnight shifts the next few days because of the fear of people going to start looting, etc.

I will keep people updated periodically.

Hope everything gets resolved soon, where is this at?

We had a heavy nor'easter blizzard move in on us Saturday afternoon till Sunday morning.

Dropped 20 inches of snow. Crushing the state's previous record of 1.4, yes 1.4 inches for October.

It was so wet and heavy, combined with trees still having their leaves, it devastated the state. As bad as if a nasty hurricane or tornado went though. Trees ripped out and snapped in half. Power lines down for miles in just about every city. Schools and libraries turned into shelters.

Over 67% of the state was without power. The number is down to 54%. But there is a lot of towns still without power, heat or running water.

Insane. But luckily I am a damn survivalist. Just gotta keep on my guard in these overnight shifts the next few days. Some of the more urban places have already had people getting shot, etc. And I witnessed fist fights already at the gas pumps and that was yesterday. Not even a week of this crap.

Needless to say my personal M4 Kit will be in the trunk. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

BF3 is a priority at a time when it's just been released. Nemesis should pack up his PC and drive to a town that knows how important electricity is to gamers in the fall. His CT town has their **** all backwards.

Which reminds me. I took a shower and one of my female best friend house yesterday. Since her power was luckily restored. And oh man.

The simple little things make you feel so good in trying times. A warm shower, her bringing me drinks as I laid on her bed. And FRESH SOCKS!! They are like sex on your feet. I was having footgasms!!!

Found my new favorite weapon.

Support class, take the C4. Good for any situation. Got a camper sitting inside a building? Blow up his wall. Need to defend a flag? Plant some C4 before you leave for a nasty surprise.

And the all time best? Suicide runs against tanks. By far the most fun I have had yet in this game. Nothing better than blowing up the tank by yourself. APCs and jeeps are even better, can get some good multi-kills that way.

This. Was playing in a game the other night with SMehta224 and RiderGH on Caspian Border. There was an enemy tank that had come through the flag area in A. After hiding out to keep from getting blasted, I hop out looking to destroy the tank. While I'm trying to line the thing up to take a shot with my RPG I see SMehta chasing the dayum thing while it's swerving left and right like a druken driver is at the wheel. I swear all the scene needed was some Benny Hill music, lol. I was like "what are you doing!?" He said, I'm about to plant C4 on this thing to try and take it out. Needless to say he finally caught up with it and I launched a RPG to set the whole thing on fire.

At one moment we're all hiding trying to make sure we don't get spotted, next moment we're blowing the whole thing up with everybody in it!

Just one of the many reasons I love this game. Awesome, awesome stuff!

There's some really bad Conquest maps on console. Karkand maps can't get here soon enough.

The one that stands out to me is the Canal map on conquest. If you are coming from the carrier you have to face tanks and whatever infantry that's already established. Your armor from the carrier takes a long time to get to the shore. With a bad team and bad pilots forget it.

I only won it once from the US side. That's because people were stealing their tanks.

Metro and Damavand peak are just vertical tunnels, while Seine Crossing is just a bad map for everything. Linear flag positions are terrible for Conquest.

I hate Conquest maps that have Linear flags.
