I think I finally figured out why my friend and I were losing so much. It was hardcore. Though we both liked hardcore, we've come back to normal and have won 12 of the last 16 matches. I don't know what it is, but apparently hardcore just wasn't for us even though we did like it.

It feels good to enjoy this game again. It's like I'm playing it for the first time all over again.

Please let me know if anyone plans to get back on tonight.

The new maps + randoms is a no go for me. I could deal with them somewhat with the old maps because at they could at least put up a fight just from being familiar with the maps. But now not knowing the maps + not playing as a team at all is a disaster. I at least need to play with a group of guys that will work together.

Before you guys choose to spawn, check what squad specializations the others are using. It doesn't help if you choose to use squad ammo when someone else is already using it. If you don't have any other squad specialization.. well I guess keep using it lol. I'll get around to changing mine the next time I have to spawn. Please don't go switching your specialization a few minutes later to the one I have just switched to too!

I've been using the grenade perk lately, it comes in handy + most people never use it. I'm usually rocking squad suppression or explosives, though..

Just played a few games on PC with the new patch.

I really like this patch, fixed a lot of things that I hated in this game. I really like how they added the PING count by everyone's name, no reason why they shouldn't have had this at launch....

Can't wait for Back to Karkand!

the last part of your comment is the biggest issue with always changing your specialization. Once you change yours, someone else can change there's and it becomes a game of wack a mole. I usually just go with what I need for a class. Support = Suppression/Explosives/Flak, Assault = Ammo/Grenades, Engineer = Explosives/Flak, Sniper = Ammo/Cover/Suppression.

How do I get my specialization icon to show up in my squad. Mine is always blank? I have suppression picked but it does not show up!

I'm not calling you out or have any issues, I'm just stating it as a general tip. I've seen too many times where 2 or 3 people in my squad are sporting the lovely squad ammo or explosives. You don't get 3x the effect of extra explosives. I'm sure it would be awesome to have 27 rockets to shoot, but unfortunately it's not happening. Why not choose other specializations to gain different bonuses that is beneficial to the squad and yourself?

Are you a high enough rank to have the squad effect of the particular specialization?

That shouldn't be an issue at all. Before you spawn just check out what icons are next to your squadmates and stick with it throughout the game. Of course, one may want to switch depending on the map/situation.

Got the Famas tonight and all i can say i WOW...they are going to have to Nerf this gun ASAP....I love it but gotdam its way OP.

This game is about to go down as possibly the best game i have ever played PERIOD.

And to think i swore up and down this game was going to be trash

dont know how man....they are pretty straigh forward just do what i do stay on the outskirts of the map...

This game is the best shooter i have played since socom 1 and hands down the best game i have played all year

These damn eagles seem invincible. I can't get any kills on these guys. I swear I catch them first, and let off the first shots. Then they hit me with two bullets and I'm out. Every time.

And lately, the matches haven't been close. I'm talking about the other team winning with 150 tickets left. I don't know what's going on man.
