Hi goh,

are they out and about on the map?
Cause in the amount I played, the side missions and diversions were put seamlessly into the main story.

They are put into the main story to introduce you to them, and then you can go find the other instances of the side missions out in the world. I'm personally not a fan of the fact that they burned so many "Story" missions on random side stuff since the game feels like the story is short/sped up in regards to the progression of taking out gangs.

Also, they've changed the side missions from having all four levels at one spot. Once you complete a side mission/diversion at that location of the map you gain a little more control over the territory, and then you have to go find the next level somewhere else on the map.

I knew I'd like this game but I didn't expect it to be this addictive. I love just running around beating the hell outta people with the dildo bat.

Same for me, except my beating has been with the bat with nails in it.

No, but you can crouch and go behind objects, or you can grab a hostage and use them as cover (similar to riot shields).

The stuff with the icon next to it is "DLC". The knight armor,samurai armor,bloody cannonness already came with with the season pass,the z,those 2 tanks + the cars that are already with the season pass,genkimobile and 3 of the shotguns. It's in quotes because it's all on the disc/download already but yah the other stuff like the decker and blow up doll are from missions.

There'll also be a "DLC" that'll give you whatever you didn't get through the story when you had to make a choice.

I beat the main story last night.

Burt. Reynolds. I lost it when I went to Meet the Mayor, completely out of left field. Of course I chose to keep him as a homie.

The fight with Killbane was legendary.

Great game. Fun as hell. I 100% for takeovers, I just need to finish the vehicle hunting and assassination targets and of course run through again to do the other choices.

Speaking of stuff locked away some kindly fellow has released a "mod" to unlock: god mode,low gravity,change time of day,evil cars,no HUD,ped war,raining peds,tiny player and giant player cheats. Again most of which were pulled from SR2. Not sure if they're supposed to be future "DLC" but they work and are free.

I am starting to get the feeling they are holding back on Certain things from SR2 to have them as DLC for SR3.

I love the STAG missions they are by far the hardest of them all...

KB is awesome, can't wait to kill him....Be completing missions galore...never knew a lot of the side missions are all tied into the main story, so it's best to finish a lot of them in an area before trying to take over the complete territory.

Any notice new cars start to popup as you progress...I'm seeing a few new ones here and there...

I don't think so. There's one called Blade that I've only seen once but otherwise it appeared everything that was there from the start is still there and there's nothing new. Based on theft missions it seems some are more likely to spawn in particular areas. I've had the Temptress,Attrazione and Vortex since I landed there and they're the best ones you can get off the street far as I know. The one from the cyberblazing is the best,it's a maxed Attrazione but you can use the glitch and customize it to be even better.
