I must be a strange duck because the most fun i've had was with 4. I really was into Niko's story THAT much.

Count me in the group that love San Andreas the most. I actually was the least attached to Vice City. Something about it just never connected with me.

        Re: Grand Theft Auto V

San Andreas had the best overall soundtrack for me and its not even close.

Radio X is my favorite station since I grew up during this time period and listened to this exact type of music. Hell, I still do! I really like the DJ Sage, too. Really captured the essence of a detached gen-exer.

Radio Los Santos would be the next best for me. I'm not a huge rap fan, but the type of rap I do like was west coast stuff from the 90s which is exactly what this is. The only negative about this station was the boring DJ. Plus, it just seems like the exact type of station CJ and his boys would be listening to while cruising around banging.

K-DST is third place. An awesome set of classic rock hosted by Axl ****ing Rose. What's not to like?

Then there's WCTR which just might be the best talk radio station in GTA history. This one gets a gold star just for the OG Loc interview alone! I also really enjoy how this station kind of reports events you were involved in in-game in almost real time. It's like it was interacting with you. Very cool.

Finally, there's CSR-103.9, the station that plays New Jack Swing hosted by none other than Michael "Biv" Bivins. While I don't enjoy this one nearly as much as RLS, it's very cool when I'm in the mood for stuff like this.

Now that's FIVE different stations that are awesome in one game. No other GTA game can compete with the absolute quality AND quantity of the radio that San Andreas has to offer.

I don't know, that Vice City soundtrack was pretty classic.

              Probably my personal favorite.

I would agree, but GTA 3 Chatterbox has yet to be outdone.

Yeah, I loved the talk radio stations in GTA 3. Those stations and the classical station I listened to the most.

Playback Radio also gave you classic East Coast hip hop too. GangStarr, Cool G Rap, Big Daddy kane and Public Enemy were a nice change of pace too. I remember just flying around randomly and listening to music in that game.

Also I forgot OG Loc got a little sugar in his tank from his time in Jail. LOL

Lazlo on GTA IV might give Chatterbox a run.

The only thing I didn't like about the radio stations on GTA 3 were that they were too damn short. You could literally hear the same song 2-3 times in like a 10 minute span.

Do yourself a favor and play it on a console. I played GTA 3 on a friends tablet and I had never missed my controller so much.

Agreed. It's backwards compatible if you have a 360. You would do yourself an injustice if you didn't play it on a console at all.
