Went to my Gamestop today to pay some stuff off and I was talking to the manager about pre-orders for GTA V.

She said they have about 600+ pre-orders. I asked for a ratio on the consoles and she either didn't know or didn't want to say but she did say that it was more for the 360.

I have a feeling it's going to be nuts Mon night at midnight.

Damn. Wish i would have seen this sooner. I live in Colorado close to Boulder. I will try to ping him on Ebay to see if I can just pick it up from him if he has any left.

For amazon pre orders, do you usually get the game the morning of the release day or afternoon?

The past few things I preordered from Amazon, I actually got them the day before release.

Depends if it's UPS or USPS (regular mail). My mail comes around 10am but UPS not until 4ish pm. I grabbed Tiger '14 with 2day release day shipping and it came USPS.

Anyone know if all games shipped from Amazon are always via USPS or does it vary?

I've gotten a ton of stuff from Amazon and it has only been delivered by regular mail never by UPS. It might depend upon where it goes out from I guess.

are you doing overnight and two day shipping? Or are you doing the normal shipping. Because if you do overnight or two day it's going to be delivered by either FedEx or UPS.

Hmm, the way people are talking about the pre-orders on this game makes me think I may have made a mistake thinking I could get this relatively easily on Tuesday/Wednesday.

Hopefully that won't be the case.

I haven't/didn't pre-order either. I just plan on going to my local Meijer after I get off work (work 2nd shift) at midnight and picking up my copy.

Look, I'm only 6 months into this parenting thing, but there ain't no way in hell I'd buy my kid Gta before he at least halfway through high school. Kid crying hugging his parents cause he got Gta, he needs to chill the heck out.

I feel that same way.

I have little ones and there is no way they would play this game. Other games that are rated M just because of blood/language maybe but GTA? No way.

In some ways its the worst gta ever as far as some things that happen.

I feel the same way as well, just goes to show that there is no limit to what parents will do to appease their kids. It's actually shameful really, buying a kid that age GTA V with the content in it.

I was floored when I saw the video and knew I was gonna link it here, was curious to see OSers reactions. I'm sure most would feel the same way about it as us.

It really depends on where you live. I get my Amazon orders from the UPS guy anywhere between 11-2 PM.
