I think i would just never mistake what's happening in a video game with real life.
I'm 25. Kevin Ware's injury bothered me for about a month after I saw it. Theisman's would've made me puke if I saw that live I think. Video games aren't life like enough to bother me.

If you don't have good morals, I guess a GTA game can influence you badly, but like others have said, people with poor morals are likely to get into illegal activity with or without a video game. I mean if some kid plays crackdown and tries to go rooftop jumping, are they going to blame that game? The ESRB rates these games. It's not much different than a violent movie. If parents are responsible there shouldn't be any problems.

All the crazy movies in the 90s riddled with violence blood sex and gore made GTA 3 child's play to me, which is why I had it when I was 12. My mom and dad couldnt care less because they knew I knew better. Parents are getting too sensitive these days.

I wasn't allowed to own GTA as a kid. Of course i played it iver at friends houses though.

I did trick my parents into getting me True Crimes though. Lol. They were at first saying that it was like GTA and I told them that you were a cop that stopped the stuff in GTA from happening. I was a sneaky one back then.

Just because kids are exposed to certain things at a young age, doesn't mean they should be. I don't wanna derail the thread, so moving on...

Can't wait until Tuesday though. I'm getting ready to hit it big on the Bawsaq (LMAO!), buy me a crib and have bitches running all through that thang!

Those who were brought up right can play at any age. Those who were not will always blame video games and or music!!!
I reserved my copy yesterday! I will let my 10 year old watch me play and yes she even helps me w the missions. However, she knows the difference between right and wrong, good language and bad!!!

Can't be bothered to find Rob's post to quote, but good call! I was pissed when I missed the 6pm deadline for gta and the eBay estimate said sept 17. I only decided to order since you said the orders should come Monday, and I can confirm, my tracking number has a Monday delivery!

Lets get off the moral issues and get back to talking about how f'n sweet this game is.

Anyone see the video from the FB guy where he killed the deer? Did you notice the tire tacks as he drove through the grass, I thought that was a neat small detail. I know they made tracks in the past but don't recall them being that detailed in previous versions.

Only difference was I had control, I must of beat the III Era gta games at least 3 times a piece.

Makes me wonder how old some other OS'ers we're when they first picked that game up? We're you already grown, highschool, middle school? I know most if not ALL of my friends had this game espcially vice city and so on after the popularity of III's success.
I was 16 and in highschool. Saved up the money for a PS2 with GTA III and NCAA Football 2002 from a summer job doing research for a medical company.

Forgive me if this has been answered already but my friends just talked me into getting this for 360 over PS3. But I have one of those grandpa 360s with the 20GBHD and its full of data. So if I have a flash drive could I install the game on that and play GTA with the flashdrive in the console or do I need to empty out the hardrive?

Pretty certain you can use the flashdrive, as long as it's big enough. When Halo 4 came out, I didn't have enough space on my 20GBHD, so I just put the installation disk on that flashdrive and I was able to play with it in.

Now, I've grown wiser and got a 320GB hard drive.

Yeah if I was really into my xbox I would have replaced the hard drive ages ago. But the last new game I bought for it was NCAA12. If not for friends that would still be the case. Now I need to buy a couple months of live to play with them...buy...

Just cleared my ps3 so i have 10 GB free.

I pre-ordered the game on amazon but I just found out my tuesday class got cancelled. I am thinking of going into the wal-mart here at midnight on monday to pick up the game, do you usually need to pre-order at wal-mart or can you just walk in at 12:01 and grab the game?
