Just shot a guy off a jet ski into another guy on a jet ski, causing the second one to crash into an underpass.


Still haven't done a single mission...mostly just exploring the map and putting the various mechanics through their paces to see what I can get away with (which mainly has entailed getting high, shooting at the range, driving terribly, and randomly doing running punches on innocent pedestrians).

Amazon pre-order standard edition here (360). Blimp code was in the box for me also.

What I've noticed this happening lately with a lot of games and pre order codes. The codes are included in the packaging with a games first run. That'd supposed to cover all pre orders.

With a release as big as gta these first run packages either didn't cover all the pre orders or people are getting a 2nd run copy that doesn't have it included because there is nothing on the games case that differentiates it from a non pre order. That also explains why some people who didn't pre order are getting the code included. Luck of the draw.

I think driving is easy in this one, in comparison to IV. I prefer it this way, it's a more arcadey feel and less of an attempt to be "Forza with violence."

The driving is fun, and almost like a blend between IV and the older style of driving.

I was so hyped to see Johnny in the game. I just love when games make those kind of connections between other games, like Johnny, Packie and the Niko reference.

Then Johnny got his ****ing head kicked in.

Kind of off-topic, but out of the 3 protagonists so far, I'm not sure who my clear-cut favorite is, though I think Franklin's my least favorite. I mean, with Michael and Trevor, we've got two kinds of characters we have never had for protagonists before, while in Franklin, he's more of the traditional Carl Johnson/Claude/etc.

I was just riding around to check out the map and got to the hills. Stole a Corquette (sp) and when Ambitious as Ridah came on a couple dear rolled up on me, so I had to pop those fools slow motions style.

I then got into this small town and there was a armored truck loading money. Got out shot the guards then began an almost an hour chase from the cops. Corquette is a beast, that thing was romping down the highway.

I finally got them off my tale after 15 minutes when I got back to the city. Then I saw an Audi8 look alike and decided to steal that but a cop was by me and here we go again.

Definitely the hardest GTA to get away from cops. No matter what I did a new cop was in the area and it didn't help that helicopters started following me.

I eventually got out of a car and just started running up the hills. I almost shook the cops but that damn helicopter found me and I had no choice but to shoot it down. It crashes into a house and brought me up to 4 stars. I had no chance then, the cops, swat, helicopters, suvs where all on me and no way I can get out of it.

I did bank 10 gz and it was fun as hell to get away. Now i'm tired, taking a break.

I think on his own Franklin is my least favorite character... but Lamar more than makes up for what Franklin lacks.

Not going to lie, this game didn't my blood flowing till the first heist and the introduction to Trevor!

I've played this game for about 8 hours and I still haven't found out how to manually reload?

Even though it's well executed and adds converging storylines to the game I'm still not sold on the multiple playable characters. Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but I think I'd rather have one main character to develop and focus on.
