Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Anybody else doing a hiking tour through all of Los Santos, Los Santos County and Blaine County, or with other words from the very south somewhere around the Los Santos Airport to the very north near Paleto Bay?
All the way by foot only, away from the big highways. Without doing any bigger extra missions or any driving on the way. Not necessarily taking the shortest way but not like making any huge detours either.
That would be (roughly) my way: LS Airport-> La Puerta -> South LS -> Downtown LS -> Vinewood -> Vinewood Hills -> Great Chapparal -> Harmony -> passing the Alamo Sea in the west -> Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness -> Paleto Bay
Sounds tempting?Last edited by geisterhome; 09-18-2013, 05:08 AM.Spending time with Jesus!

Played yesterday from 9am-2pm and then again from 10-12 so will be firing it back up again this morning. Has anybody stole the train yet? Is it possible to do? The rain is very cool though.
I ordered the strategy guide yesterday and was suppose to come today but didn't get a tracking number from amazon so dont know if it will arrive today or tomorrow.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Just random thoughts...
-Playing with free aim..so much more fun.
-Driving feels less realistic. I can make sharp turns with semis haha but seems harder to drift which I guess I don't like.
-Michael is more interesting than I expected.
-Too many nice cars everywhere. I feel like there's no challenge to get a nice one or to hold onto them when you find them.
-I like the police chases. They seem smarter but not psychic.
-That one character reference with Lester...such a tease haha..
-Wish there were more buildings you could enter/stores to stick up.
-Never a dull moment with Trevor or his friends...
-As everyone has said game looks beautiful and so far story/missions aren't dull at all. I think I'm around 21%.
-I never see police driving. Sometimes see them setting speed traps but never patrolling.
-I've died from bailing out of a plane into water multiple times. Ugh..
-Also I'm playing with no GPS to try to learn this map but it is not working at all! -Still haven't seen CJ's I don't think...
-Def see myself replaying the single player over a few times unless online really lasts an extremely long time. Feels like I'm watching a movie rather than playing a video game.
I don't think any of these were spoilers. If they were, I apologize.Student of the game. #Fundamentals

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Finally done my first heist last night and it was AWESOME! Loved the planning and everything involved. Then I met Trevor, that guy is a damn trip. LOL Definitely my favorite character out of the three. Wish I could blow off work and continue playing but time to get back to a responsible adult and head into work. /sighComment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Tonya...no,just no. That's why you don't hire random gang members off the street to do voices. Unless that was a pro,in which case they were just awful. She was instantly more annoying than Roman. Soon as I finished the mission and she was talking on the phone I ran her over 27 times. There was this really great animation where she started slowly running away as the car was revving up. The animations for running people over in this are fantastic in general.
.
SpoilerRob armor trucks, buy and sell stock, do family and friends missions, and random encounters.
Spoileras you get further in the game you can buy and sell property, and do towing missions for franklin.
Also, does anyone have tips for buying stock, because I dont know a single thing about the stock market.Last edited by fatleg3; 09-18-2013, 07:57 AM.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
My thoughts on this game so far...
I grew up in South Philly and live in SoCal now so ofcourse I was excited to play as Franklin (tbh who wasn't? ). I'm definitely feeling his "want for more" we've all been there (if you haven't you'll get there). The "tow truck lady" is HILARIOUS. The voice acting is on point and if you grew up in an inner city you DEFINITELY have someone in your family or neighborhood that reminds you of everyone in Franklins hood.
Michael reminds me of Tony Soprano and the italians in South Philly & Jersey. I love Mob movies, books, museums etc. I get my Mob fix with Michael, or at least it feels like it. I even gave him that slicked back haircut.
Watching trailers I thought I wouldnt have an interest in playing as Trevor but I was WRONG WRONG WRONG! Trevor is funny as all get out! Dont wanna spoil anything so I cant say much about him, but he is FUNNY.
Rockstar out did themselves here. I loved GTA4 but I hated the side missions and friend always wanting to hang out, in 5 nothing feels pointless. All the side missions help in some capacity and it may have been that way in 4 I just could've missed it.
Just my 2 centsRather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment

[QUOTE=fatleg3;2045477001]She is a crackhead. She is suppose to be annoying.
This! If you've never experienced having one as a family member consider yourself cheated from some of the funniest people on earth. Also consider yourself lucky you dont have to lock everything up when they come over for holidays!!
Not being insensitive to people with habits just stating my opinion. I still love'em though, family is forever!Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment
