At some point I'm going to stop hitting L1 and shooting something when I'm trying to change the radio station.

We aren't there yet. I don't know why my brain thinks L1 does that.

How far into the game do I have to get before I can play golf/tennis on it?

No spoilers. But very early. As soon as you run a mission and Michael becomes a playable character. There's a tennis court right behind his house.

I hit a guy who stole a purse with a Hummer.

Was that excessive?

Feels excessive.

Then I gave the purse back and I don't honestly know why. There is no honor in this game. Being a terrible person yields rewards. Went from 2000 for the murder/takesies backsies to 200. Hardly worth the damage to the bumper.

If that's wrong, I don't want to be right. The purse snatcher I encountered happen to run through a group of homeless just as I plowed him down.

I gave the purse back too. Granny gave me $50.

You should at least killed her and get the money that was in the purse (plus a little extra). This is GTA after all!

I did that in Franklins driveway.

The call goes over the radio of shots fired and I hear sirens coming. ****. I figure they won't track me down, I'll just sit here behind the house.

All the dudes in the hood start opening fire when the cops show up and a full on fire fight starts raging.

Eventually I get involved.

I died. I think the bangers turned on me.

Surprised to not see many complaints about the driving, least favorite part of the game so far. Hope it gets much better as the skill increases.

I ran them down with cars too. Except the first one because I had gotten out of the car to see what was going on. I shot him after a short chase.

Speaking of chases there was a dog chasing a car,the car slammed on the brakes,the dog hit the bumper and went down.

Does stamina not drain any more at 100 or is this a pleasant glitch? (Which would be the only one I've found so far which is amazing for a Rockstar game.)

I suck at it. Bad. I wish they would've ripped off Mafia II's speed limiter, because I don't always want to be driving a billiondy miles an hour.

Motorcycles are easier in my opinion. Steal one the next time you see one and try that.

Man, did he same thing at first. Sitting in traffic at an intersection. Fired a shot into the car in front of me, and caused about a 10 car pile-up as people were trying to get away. lol

Side note: Great song choice when you first take control of Michael at his house when he's lounging by the pool.

Hookers get freaky in this game, I see... and expensive. (not that I know the going rate or anything)
Nothing a silenced pistol can't fix.

Love the weapon customizing in the game too.

Just watched a full on shootout between 4 guys and a couple cops near Vinewood. The guys killed the cops , hopped back in the car and sped off lol. This game is nuts..

I suck badly at driving and shooting. Now just driving, I'm getting better at it. Awesome little touch, as I was taking a leisurely cruise back to michael's house I noticed a little rumble in the controller every time I went over a rough patch in the road. Very cool

after playing max payne and red dead, the one thing im kind of disappointed about is the shoot outs. The cover system works great, but the feeling i get when i shoot someone seems a little off when comparing it to the other games. Sort of like they aren't reacting to the bullets the same way and they don't seem to pierce into their skin (if you've played those games you would know what I'm talking about). GTA V doesnt seem to have that gore factor that max payne and red dead had (for example bullet wounds in the head). Those games had sort of a satisfying feeling to them when you shot someone (maybe im just a sick person who knows).
