Wait, they delayed GTA on next gen until March 2022?

Lol that **** gets more silly by the day, topped off by the fact they’re releasing the same game again for next gen.

Anyway, I’ll be looking forward to the trilogy dropping soon…hopefully.

I'm more looking forward to the Trilogy than GTA V. Nothing they shown has enticed me to get it if it isn't free. But even if it rivaled GTA Mods, I'm pretty much done with GTA V. I'm still curious to why it was delayed 4 months. One can assume that they have been working on it for 2+ years. Unless they added more content and/or timing it up with a online update, how much more time do they need to remaster a remastered game lol

The Trilogy should be still slated for November. Once a game gets rated, it's pretty much around the corner. Maybe the delay gives the Trilogy it's own spotlight. I'm just hoping it isn't a lazy cash grab remaster

Can you buy just the rematered old titles (for PS4)? And are these going to be physical or digital only?

I can't even bring myself to put the GTA V disc in the console because I am so sick if this game and haven't even touched it in years.

Seem more likely as each day passes. A Trilogy remaster like this wouldn't really need too much pre-release marketing/press. But would have to imagine that it would release next month some time. The GTA 3 20 year anniversary is on Oct 22(Friday this year). So, that would be a logical reveal date

Disappointing, no grandiose definitive edition, but rather re-releasing the games with unspecified graphics/gameplay updates and retaining their original look and feel.

Coming to mobile in 2022, too. Existing games to be delisted on all platforms next week.

Not saying I won't buy it, but hoped for so much more. I hope they've at least relicensed the original soundtracks.

It’s disappointing in the sense that it’s not GTA 6 or even news about it, but I’m still slightly excited to play these even if it’s just slightly upgraded graphics, which is fine considering where they originated from.

I just hope they don’t plan on charging $100 for all of them though.

Not expecting a Mafia 1 re-make, but still excited to see what these oldies look and play.

So tired of the zombie/post-apoclyptic open world games, just want some decent modern open world games. So with these and SRR I should have something to play.

Wonder if it is Digital only or also Physical release. If it is digital only, what ever the price it, it won't drop for a while.

While you can't expect remake quality, I just don't want it to feel like a cash grab. As long as it is of good quality, I'll buy it. It's been about 6-8 years since I've played any of the games, so it'll feel mostly fresh.

Man, hearing that song again was something else. It's been years since I last played through GTA III. That song is still a classic, as are the Vice City and San Andreas theme songs as well.

I'm a GTA sucker and will get the trilogy even if it has minimal updates to it. The GTA franchise has been a huge part of my gaming life and although I am not happy with how Rockstar is handling GTA V, Online, and VI/6, the series is still near and dear to my heart and I know I'll play through all 3 once more and love every second of it like I always do.

PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher later this year. It’s also coming to iOS and Android during the first half of 2022.

One thing I'm curious about is if they changed the mission structures of GTA 3 and Vice City. Where if you die, you have to replay the entire mission again. I'm not sure if San Andreas allowed you to skip parts of missions, but I want to say no. There needs to be checkpoints added to missions or something. Especially missions where there is a lot of driving towards an area at the very beginning or the multi-layered missions.

I'm definitely getting the trilogy. The current version of it available on PS4/PS5 runs like **** imo. So this would be an improvement.

I hope they're able to get the rights back for the songs that were cut from Vice City and San Andreas when they got re released a few years ago.
