The only one I've managed to finish is GTA IV. I haven't got close to finishing the others.

edit: I can see Brucie being in GTA V as your connection to underground racing or stealing cars. I would personally like to see Little Jacob.

You know with 2 of the 3 last Rockstar games the main character dies. So using that logic I wonder if they will basically give you a choice of which out of three will live somehow.

The games he's talking about are years old, there's no need to warn about spoilers.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I guess you're right, but I don't buy many games in the year they release.

What I'm trying to say is that if it was a GTA game, then it would be different.

We're talking about different titles from the same publisher/developer. If I had not played them and I read that the main protagonist dies, I wouldn't want to play 'em.

Just looking out for some guys who may not have played those games.

But which two of three?! DUN DUN DUN!

Now you'll have to play all three games to find out!

...Unless you end up playing the two games first. Then, I guess you wouldn't need that third game. That would be depressing.

I hate driving in games, so I can never finish a GTA game, but I always buy the game every time a new one comes out because the length and the quality make it a must play. Maybe with the three person squad, I can limit the amount of driving I have to do, and get farther in the game then I normally do.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

It isn't regular driving around that bothers me, its the driving that is part of missions, like having to catch people, or get away from the cops.

I feel the same way. My least favorite missions involve driving to catch someone while simultaneously having to shoot them down.

It gets done, but I liken it to having a flying level in a good platform game.

Tough to avoid that in a game called Grand Theft Auto.

I like it, but not when a game programs the chase so that you can't run the guy off his route or shoot him down... like you have to get to a certain point, so you're unloading ammo for no reason.

Yeah, the game by its very nature isn't really made for me, but the world building, storytelling, and character design of Rockstar makes it a must purchase.

I also agree with your last point about the game forcing your victory to come at a certain point or in certain way, but going back to your first point, it is called GTA, so that is going to be a core part of their design process.
