Re: Grand Theft Auto V
San Andreas is due out this week as a PS2 Classic on the Playstation Store.

Rockstar, slowly but surely building up towards V, with Vice City for iOS recently as well. I imagine we'll see the Vice City PS2 Classic pretty soon here as well.
I never did finish San Andreas. I remember there was a lot of stuff I hated about that game.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Not that I need this to be an HD remake, but is there a 16:9 option for this game at least?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Edit:
At 3:51 in this video (though the widescreen gets cut off on youtube):
I assume SA will be the same.Last edited by RandyBass; 12-10-2012, 05:50 PM.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I'm about 99% sure that there will be a widescreen option. I remember wondering the same thing about the GTA3 PS2 Classic, and saw a youtube video where the user went into the settings menu and switched it to 16:9.

I still have my PS2 and GTA San Andreas, but I lost my memory card with my files. I didn't actually lose it, but it got switched with my college roommate's memory card about four or five years ago, and he sold all of his PS2 stuff. I want my Power Pros franchise back too! Haha.
I'll probably be buying this, and let it tide me over until GTA V. Somebody said they want to avoid anything GTA-related. I disagree; I'd rather play something that's extremely outdated, which would in turn make this one feel like a true breath of fresh air. That's what I used to do for baseball video games: play Interplay Sports Baseball 2000 on PSX for a couple of weeks before a game's release, then buy whatever new game it is that I got.
