I'm not really keeping up much with the game (I generally like to be surprised when I do end up getting it), but from what I'm reading - they've definitely gone in the right direction with this game and brought back what makes this series so damn fun.

I'm looking into getting the previous generation GTA games, but I cannot decide on XBOX or PS2. I can't decide over load-times/graphics/custom soundtracks or control. The PS2 seems to have one advantage and that's that the controls are just far better (I remember really, really disliking the XBOX controls when I switched over originally).

I've got them on the PC already - but I'm not enjoying the mouse/keyboard at all, and trying to set up a controller is far too much work, and doesn't end up being nearly as good as on a real console anyway.

Can't wait for this game. The last time I was this excited for a game was back in 2010 (I believe) when Red Dead Redemption came out. This game looks truly massive and September can't get here soon enough.

I'll be honest.

Grand Theft Auto is one game that I don't feel bad about using the "Unlimited Money" cheat they have in the game.. and GTA V isn't going to be any different.

I always have a second save file with cheats but I like playing the story 100% legit. That's just me. Whatever is fun for you.

Money never really affected the story, so it's not that big of a deal.

Plus, for every mission I do, I spend like 20 hours not doing missions.

Yeah I agree. But I remember back in San Andreas when you had to purchase properly, I found it pretty fun to earn the money for more safe houses/storages. There's really no wrong way to play GTA.

So looking forward to playing the back 9 early in the morning, shooting up a few motorists who upset me in the slightest then get a few matches of tennis in, then probably pick up a hooker and take her out to the forest and kill her using her for bear bait. Then kill that bear, ending my day by crashing my stolen plane into the pier. Good times inded, made possible by GTA.

I'll have to revise this in the future to include Sharks in there somewhere.

Agreed. The car customization is something that Ill will be enjoying, loved driving around in GTA 4 and San Andreas. From the trailers to the previews, there is going to be so many things to do. Not really sure if mentioned, but I really hope there will be different ways to spend money, especially if opening small businesses could be possible.

Logic tells me that since they used the PS3 to capture the trailer...it probably is the best version.

They will most likely use the best version for their trailers.

That being said...developers have gotten so good these days that the difference between consoles is very very small.

You expect from a developer like Rockstar to produce a game with next to nothing differential-wise between consoles.

I'm getting it for PS3, but I expect both version to be insane quality.
