Even if it was available digitally on Xbox. The downside is if you lose Internet you wouldn't be able to play it. I really hate this. If I have it d/l to my HD why can't I play it? Ugh. I sold Gta 4 a couple yrs back and bought it off the Xbox marketplace last year and my Internet went out for over a week not too long ago. That and any original Xbox games sign you out of live smh

Why wouldn't you be able to play it if you don't have internet connected ?

I have some games downloaded to my xbox and they work just fine when I don't have it on the internet (which is rare).

I must have missed something.

Yeah, I'm confused. You need an internet connection for the initial download and install, but after that you should be golden.

Yeah. Once download you do not have to be connected to the Internet.

Sounds like Pam Greer is the host for Soul Channel. Listened to about 5 minute of the stream before shutting it off. Don't want anymore skits spoiled before getting the game next month.

Also a talk radio station with major storyline spoilers. So yeah, you might not want to listen to it. Glad I missed that part.

Then I think it's about time for me to unsubscribe from this thread.

All I know is the more I hear about things being leaked, the more curious I'll be and will want to explore. This is especially true of the people who might be able to play the game this weekend (or already have or something).

I hear ya. I deleted my two posts. Will wait until Rockstar officially releases the soundtrack. But from the sounds of it, people will without a doubt be playing the game this weekend. Which sucks, because it's going make it that much more difficult to avoid spoilers online.

I might have to avoid using Twitter for the next month just to be safe.

Definitely. I'm going to try and go into cryo-sleep for a few weeks.

I always felt like Rockstar was revealing too much about their own game (meanwhile hoping they've only released like 4% of all there is, even regarding the map), but if more information is to be given to me, I'd so prefer it's Rockstar who tells me than somebody else. At least that way I know it was their intent and in my best interest, not somebody else who wants some e-brownie points for being the first to leak something.

A safe bet for the soundtrack is The Black Keys. They infiltrate everything (including GTAIV). It truly is astounding how many commercials they've been in. Even before they got big.

This is what I get when I try to play any Xbox 360 game from the marketplace when not connected. (Yes my tv sucks lol)

I just looked it up. I think I might need to do a liscense transfer? Idk. I have the same gamertag. I'm gonna test a game I bought recently and see if that plays because that should work if I originally d/l it on my current Xbox, right?

Edit: yep, but according to Microsoft you have to redownload the content for the liscenses to update so I would lose all my progress I assume ughh
