Was driving around the northern part of the map on the highway, north of Paleto Bay. I come across an car wreck with a blue dot. Get out and a lady is in need of help, but she doesn't want to go to a hospital. I immediately pull out my gun, thinking this is a set up as I see the other guy laying "dead" by the car. Turns out it isn't a set up, she is/was a get away driver for a crew that just robbed a pawn shop, but she got double crossed and stabbed while driving. I take her to house, and she is now a contact I can use as a driver in future heists. Comes in hand as I lost one of my drivers during the first heist I did. I thought that was pretty cool.

Also jacked my first armored car. Easy money, I made sure that all my guys have sticky bombs whenever I switch to them, just in case.

Also, I was pissed last night. It was about 3 am, and I finished the Mayweather heist only to see that instead of splitting $20,000,000. We get nothing. Oh I was hot. I was already spending that money in my head, I bought Michael the Enus Cognoscenti Cabrio after the kids split and Jimmy took his car. Thinking I had a payday coming. No such luck.

The cars you buy show up in your alternate garage. Make sure you have at least a free spot for it to get delivered and it takes a bit to show up. I bought a cheetah and it didn't show up so I thought I got robbed. I went back to my garage a couple missions later and there it was!

Only minor complaint I have with the game thus far is the hand to hand combat. You cannot differentiate whether your character kicks or punches while in a fight. IMO it takes away from the experience when I am working over a thug with hands and then I suddenly go for a cheap, awkward looking kick to the nuts.

Don't get me wrong though, this is a minor complaint. The overall experience of this game is overwhelming.

Actually you can you have to lock onto the person and for PS3 the square button is to dodge, x is to kick and , o is to punch. If you dodge then punch you can perform combos

I messed up my first armored truck heist on day 1. I came up to it and saw the blue dot so I thought, he'll I'll try to jack it. Killed the guards and got the money they had on them, then tried to get in the van and couldn't. The cops were approaching so I had to take off. I was thinking it sucked only getting a few bucks from a heist

Then yesterday I found one and noticed the msg about blowing off the back doors...made much more sense then.

Talk about horrible timing for my ps3 to get stuck in a file system corrupted loop.

I'm home sick from work, figuring i can at least play some GTA when I'm not passed out from the medicine. Nope not now.

Problem is as soon as you take that car out of the garage you get one drive with it then its gone no matter if you park it in your garage or not. I lost a $400k lambo before I knew about the purchased car saving issue.

When I boot my ps3 up it says file system corrupt then when it goes to restore it gets to around 50 percent then restarts and does it all over again.

This game is so much fun. I've run into a couple of minor glitches though. Forgive me if they've been posted already. I will delete this if that is the case.

First one was with Franklin's aunt. Came home one night after robbing an armored truck and cops were on my ***. Auntie walks down the hallway and out the door as I enter. I go into my room and changes clothes. Come out and there's his aunt walking down the hallway again followed by a second one. I watched this happen a number of times with them all walking onto the sidewalk. At one point I punched one in the back of the head, which killed her, took money, and watched as new aunt characters walked by the body. It was odd.

Next glitch was at Michael's house. Seems like whenever I'm in there, his wife is standing on the counter and just looking around. Found his daughter standing on the couch. This was before I took the bong hit in his son's room, by the way.

You might have to give Sony a call and see what they recommend. Is it still under warranty?

Oh and sadly it looks like I will be out about $200,000. As I bought that car for Michael and customized it, and then parked it in his garage at home, switched to Trevor, forgot to swithch back and park it in the special garage. So I know that when I fire the game back up, I won't have the car anymore.

I just played a round of golf. It was actually a fair bit of fun. If you're a golfing die hard and expect nothing less than Tiger Woods 2014, you'll be disappointed. But if you look at it for what it is - a mini-game within a game - there's a lot of enjoyment to be had.

For starters, and to clarify, it's a 9 hole round. I can't say for sure, but it seems like time stands slightly still as you play through (I was worried it'd get dark before I finished my round but it never happened). Altogether, the round took about 25 real life minutes to complete.

The control system is easy and rewarding. That said, it still takes skill to excel. I finished -1. It was pretty easy to see where my mistakes were.

To be honest, it's actually pretty cool to drive a golf cart from shot to shot. I played it conservative (kept it on the cart path when possible, no sand trap jumping or lake diving) but it's freeing to know the option is there to take it where ever you want it to go. It also began raining on the 7th hole and the cart became a little more fun to handle as a result.

I will say, I do wish there were more achievements tied to the golf game. I'll have to see if there's an online leaderboard. If not, I'm guessing that'll come forth when GTA Online opens up. It's definitely a fun endeavor overall though.
