All three characters now have 2 billion, time to buy Los Santos then blow it up.

It's my fault and no one else (well, maybe AUChase' lol).

I went blazing through the SP so I can have it done by Oct 1st in time for GTAO. Yet GTAO is basically still unplayable 2 days later.

      *sigh

I started replaying some of the heists yesterday and a few other missions using a different approach (ie option a or b)

Not entirely sure that this works for everyone but it could be worth a try. For those of you stuck at the race where it continually boots you, keeps freezing, or whatever, Try deleting the update, I repeat JUST THE UPDATE, not the gama data or save data. The 39MB download.

After deleting the patch, start the game up and load single player. Once it loads, pause it, go to the online tab, select choose character, and delete your character. Create a new ugly character, and enjoy the opening video yet again. I played for almost 4 hours last night with it only booting me once. Granted I lost some of my progression but it wasn't anything crazy.

On another note, for the people that have created multiple characters because of the online issues, have you noticed that on one instance you'll end up with John Marston as your father and the next time you create a character you get the option to choose your father's grandparents instead? Just seems a little odd.

Do you get to keep the money from them when repeating them?

I have nothing more to say about that than... WOW.

Makes me want to slow down and enjoy things in the game more.

That's what I've been doing the past two nights. Stroll down the street and reading all the signs, looking at the shops, eavesdropping on people, and just getting into the game on a street level. Its slow as hell, but it makes the map easier to remember. Plus, I like placing points of interest as that helps me too.

The points of interest is pretty cool.

I use it to mark things I may want to come back and look at when I'm in the middle of something. If I find a gas station that can be robbed, I always mark it.

Yeah I don't know why I've never used it more.

I've marked down gas stations, armored trucks that can be robbed, and random places I can enter.

There is a garage that opens up in one of the alleys. Not sure what happens when you put a car in there.

For some reason this just popped into my head, but I forgot to bring it up when it happened a couple days ago.

Franklin is bumming around town feeling a little bored so he gives his boo Nikki from Vanilla Unicorn a ring to see if she's up for some vitamin D. Her response, "Doctor says no dick!"

So, a little let down I call her again to see if she's fooling around or legit. No busy tone. Phone rings and she picks up. Franklin asks her whats up. Her response: "This UI is serious, baby!"

                          Ummm...good bye girl.

Leaving the house as Franklin to heavy gunfire down the street. Hop in my car and head about 50 yards to the right. Approach two cops engaging in a gun fight with two suspects. One of the suspects is gunned down, but the remaining suspect is able to take out of the cops. While the remaining cop is reloading the suspect jumps a fence. The cop follows but comes back a minute later frustrated complaining about how he could not catch him and lost his partner in the process.

Ambulance shows up to confirm the officers death. As I make my way back to my car after looting the dead suspect for money and ammo, I overhear one of the paramedics say 187 sure wasn't this guy's lucky number.

Sometimes these random events can be more entertaining than the missions themselves.

The dialogue prostitutes have while talking to each other is hilarious.

Ho-1 "He was twisting my nipples like they were stereo knobs."
Ho-2 "Girrrrl, you don't have to tell me."
