Yeah you have to in order to be able to play online. I've heard a lot of people are having trouble with the online progress saving though so I wouldn't spend too much time online right away.

Yup ive created 5 or 6 different guys and none of them saved. Its fun to run around and cause chaos but dont look for more than that right now

I can't even get it to start It keeps freezing or timing out

I was able to get on twice earlier even though it said the cloud servers were unavailable. I just made a random guy and was able to run around the city and interact with everyone but anytime i tried to start a race or a job it froze up. Me and another random player had a pretty awesome shootout and chase with the cops. I started it and i guess he noticed i was in trouble and bailed me out. I can definitely see the potential for major fun, just hope they get everything squared sooner than later.

The dialogue prostitutes have while talking to each other is hilarious.

If you're driving a convertible vehicle (even with the top up) a prostitute will get in your ride but then get right out. I was trying to take one to the cult camp. Guess they don't like rag tops.

I was thinking, as I was walking through Mt. Chiliad State Wilderness as night fell, another cool addition would have been to include the ability to camp & save a la Red Dead Redemption. Perhaps the gear would have to be packed beforehand and backpacked, like other hikers seen throughout. It'd be a fun way to get through the night.

In the meantime, I'm using my shotgun flashlight as a real flashlight and embarking on a little nighttime wilderness exploration.

Looks to me like there is a cap of about 2.15 billion in game, as Miachael when I sold all the stock after last assassination (used sell all), it left the stock in my portfolio but said I had 0 shares. If I bought a share, the shares would shoot up to a bunch (and funnily enough, leave me with a crazy percent return in the millions). Once I had bought some properties I tried to sell all again, and it took me up to the same number (like 2,147,4##,4##) and gave me the zero shares thing again. I bought the country club and it finally let me sell all that stock.

Edit: Duh, not sure why it didn't dawn on me in game, that cap is a 32 bit integer (2,147,483,647), probably lucky it didn't flip negative when I sold that stock.

Cant believe its been a week since I last played I need to get back at it. I haven't played online yet as I have heard there has been some problems.
