This is really good to hear,I can't wait till my midnight release
If you could though...I do have a quick question.
In all the vids I've seen,it seems like the hit detection is ...how should we say...not so generous...does it seem like it takes alot to down somebody?

As far as I can tell,that was my only real problem with the vids I watched,but not enough to deter me from picking it up.

Oh yea....I apologize but one more question..
What would you compare the movement to? C.O.D or BF:BC?...I absolutely cannot stand the movement in C.O.D as it "feels" to arcadey,while BF feels like there is some weight to the guys.

Hit detection felt fine. I only played 2 games but didn't have any glaring issues.

Definitely feels like Battlefield. There's no running and gunning here like COD. It's as tactical as you want it to be. Love it.

Do you feel like the game has that "lasting appeal"...in other words,do you see yourself playing this for a long time?

Off topic:...good luck with the storm up there,I'm an hour south of you,and thank GOD we didn't get it like you guys did.

I played like 125 hours or so online of Bad Company 2. I see myself playing this as my shooter until at least Battlefield 3 hits.

More awesome news..this is what I like to hear. I was looking for "that shooter" that will last until Battlefield 3,and from the sounds of it,I just may have found it.

The opening video, setting you into the alternate universe is very well done. Really sets the stage well and the whole plot of this game is just awesome.

Yeah. Never saw that.

Simply put. Game feels like war should feel. Huge maps. 32 players. Vehicles etc. Just an awesome chaotic feel. Diving into single player here in a minute. Love this.

Korean guards line up mother and father, mother is yelling to her toddler not to look, and then the 2 parents are both shot in the head. Kid starts crying and runs over to them as the guards walk away. Just WOW

Thanks for the info EG. While this was already a paid off pre order for me, hearing that the MP plays more like Battlefield then COD is nice. Enjoy the game and keep the impressions coming.

That is a great quote!! I dove into BF very late but have enjoyed it very much. If this game is on that level then this should be a good game.

Questions if you dont mind answering.
1) Were alot of folks using a mic?
2) Does the leveling up system go fast like COD or slower like BF?
3) It seems like there is little to no recoil in the vids I have seen. What are you noticing?

1. Yes

2. Slower, starts off fast but each level takes longer. The BP system is simply genius. It's awesome to have a good run, then spawn with a tank and you're already driving it. No worrying about people stealing tanks and driving like idiots.

3. Haven't honestly noticed, I'll try to pay attention, guns feel and sound great to me though. Each one has a different weight and feel.

Got it. FYI if you are going to rent you won't be able to play online. Require a pass code like ea games. That was never announced.

I like them, they all feel different, some are very, very cool. The Goliath rules!
