No problems for me the last 2 days. MP is smooth as butta!!! I must mention that this game gets better and better the more I play it

I haven't had any problems getting into a game. The party system is messed up from what I understand,but their working on it from what I gather.

What I gather is that it's like BLOPS was on release....you have a group and go into a game,and it's splits up the group.

I would rent it first, because I am going to trade in Homefront. I really am in the minority but I really don't like it after two days. I threw a grenade and for some reason it landed right next to my foot. That has happened on more than one occasion. Just not a good game overall imo. After the gimmick wear off it is just a sub par FPS. Everytime I play the game, I want to pick MAG back up.

THQ and Kaos are committed to supporting Homefront post-launch, and we are actively investigating all reported bugs and issues. We have already dramatically increased server capacity to meet the unprecedented demand, which is addressing many of the connection issues we saw yesterday. Our data shows that that the vast majority of Homefront players are enjoying multiplayer without issue, however we are tracking and addressing a number of known issues on both PS3 and 360.

This is what we’re doing right now:

PS3

We have a patch going live this evening at 17.00 PST / 20.00 EST / 24.00 GMT. This will include: • Fixes for intermittent problems accepting friend invites and joining friends’ games
• Several fixes for reported freezes
• Fixes related to joining matches, round transitions, and proper behavior on the match recap screen
• Additional bug fixes, including inaccuracies in ping meter, and player hosted servers not properly pulling score/time limit settings
For those of you experiencing difficulties with PS3, this update should make a significant difference.

Xbox 360

We have seen far fewer issues reported on 360 to date, but we are currently working on a title update that we trust will address most outstanding issues. As soon as we have a timeframe for this we will let you know.

We have seen reports of an extremely rare issue whereby Xbox 360 owners can no longer connect to the game at all with their preferred profile. This affects just a handful of the several hundreds of thousands of Xbox 360 players we’re tracking, but if it’s affecting you, please email THQ support directly at [email protected] with a full description of the problem so we can identify you.

FYI, THQ just published the game, Kaos Studios made it. I trust Kaos as this game has been their baby for 3 years.

Things will get worked out.

Game comes out on Tuesday, first patch is out Thursday night, that is what I consider GREAT support for a game. Now maybe we can get some people together game play.

I've had 1 red bar for 3 days and I just logged on for a round of TDM and I have full green bars and the mics of other players are not cutting off and on and the patch is not even released. Gotta give em credit!!!!

Gonna shower and jump back on for a few hours and try to get my rank up. Loving this game even more than KZ3 and I was really starting to enjoy that game a lot. IMO this game kiils Black Ops but that's just my take.

Ugh, I want to like this game, but it seems like it suffers from the "every other FPS syndrome." This may just be me, because I am not very good, but once again just like COD it seems I have to empty a clip in someone to get a kill. Yet when I am hit, I usually go done after a shot or two.

I was pretty good at BF but I am getting so frustrated with this game. I got it from Gamefly so at least I don't feel like I'm out $60.

That's how I felt with KZ3 online. I don't mind dying or just not being good, but I ****ing hate when it feels like you're at some sort of unknown disadvantage. I hope that isn't the case if I get into this, but who knows. FPS' seem to be a crap shoot for me.

I feel for you "31" because I find myself in the same situations with every shooter but with the way the hit detection is in this game I truly feel that I have a legit chance when face to face. Black Ops and some of the others I feel I just don't get a fair shake. This game offers me that happy median I have been searching for, grant it the first few hours I sucked and I think I even made a post about how bad I was playing.

just downloaded the patch, went online, got into a game, cocked my gun and it Froze. Have to reboot
