Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I have a question about enchanting. The very first perk says something about new enchantments are 20% stronger. What exactly does that mean? Does it mean when I disenchant a item to get the new enchantment it will be stronger? Ex: +100 fire damage becomes +120 fire damage when I disenchant it or does it go by when you are enchanting a piece of equipment it get stronger.
Also how do new games work, does it delete your old one or what?Last edited by Candyman5; 11-24-2011, 06:04 PM.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Just killed Audilluin the dragon or whatever his name is.
Impressions on the fight below
SpoilerI gotta say this, the graphics in the sky were amazing. But, the fight was a cake walk compared to some other dragons. Hell, even some non dragon mobs have been harder. The mage you have to kill to get into the area of Audilluin was harder tougher than him imo. Oh well, still was a blast and the helmet is bad ***.
On a different note, what exactly are the dragon bones for? I heard you create heavy armor with them, but do I need a certain leveling of blacksmithing? Or just need to find the right forge or what?Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Has anyone encountered this glitch? I'm not sure how I'm supposed to get around this.
Waking Nightmare
SpoilerWith Vaermina's Torpor in hand, I am ready to undergo the Dreamstride. I must drink the liquid which will enable me to enter the dreams of those who still slumber within these walls and use them to breach the inner sanctum.
So I drink the liquid and get transported into the dream. I walk around until I eventually reach a point where I hit an invisible wall and can't move forward anymore. I can see people in front of me fighting through the open doorway. If anyone has encountered this problem, please let me know if you were able to get around it.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I cant even explain how ****ing annoying random Dragon battles have become now. Im sitting on 20 dragon souls and these mother ****ers just keep coming and coming at the worst possible times.
Ancient Dragons are the worst thing in the world.Comment

If so, there's a soul gem nearby that you have to get in order to disable it.
Also, the Windhelm area is downright depressing. Nothing but blizzards all day and night. I actually wished that I brought a companion with me 'cause I truly felt lonely out there.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
SpoilerI don't remember seeing any handle in the area I'm talking about. I'll double check though.

It's just an open passageway that looks like I should be able to walk straight through.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
For the people who have killed Alduin.
Possible spoiler, don't read unless you have killed him
SpoilerIs he the end of the main quest line? Since I've killed him, I've haven't gotten a new quest so my compass has nothing to lead me. Read somewhere that the main line is about 20-30 hours long, but it sure doesn't feel like I've put in that much playtime but who knows.
This is my first Elder scrolls game so bare with me.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Can you provide a screenshot of where this problem is? What platform are you playing it on? I've completed that quest quite some time ago and I never ran into your problem.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Well since I am at level 36, the hardest enemy I have now had to fight are the Draugr Deathlords. These things are tough SOB's, was in some ruin earlier and had to use a ton of health potions and had to be close to 10 of them in there.
I completed the Legion story last night and am now going to attempt to finish the Thieves Guild, have a feeling a 58 lockpick skill wont help me in that journey lol.Comment
