Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

First off this game is amazing, unfortunately ive only been able to get like 3 hours in and im only a level 4. I ran across my first giant last night and I didnt realize how much trouble I would be in until he got right up on me. He clubbed me one time and I bounced like 50 feet in the air lol. I love this game.

I work tonight and tomorrow then off for 7. Sooooo pumped to get back into the game.

I'm jealous. 12 hr day today then I'm gonna pump at least 2-3 hrs into this gem.

Yeah thats the only downfall is 12 hr shifts. Usually dead tired. I'm just lucky that the 7on/off this go around is an OFF and right after Skyrim.
And screw it.. I'm playing just for a bit before bed....

So last time I looked at the clock it was 2 AM. All of the sudden it is near 7 AM. Thank you Skyrim for putting me in some kind of time warp. Looks like no sleep for me.

This game is amazing. I think I played for about 9 hours straight on Friday when I got home after work. I've probably put about 25 hours into it this weekend and I'm loving every part of it. I really can't think of anything that bores me on this game.

I really like the dragon battles. Just hanging out then I hear the swooping of a dragon's wings over a town...so exciting.

This is my G.O.T.Y. no question about it. Time just flies by when I play this game. I thought I was playing for about an hour, looked up at the clock and 4 hours were passed.

Only negative it doesn't allow screenshots on the PS3 version.

As much as I love my 2h warrior, I feel helpless against dragons until they land. I basically find a hiding spot and hope it lands.

I am in same boat. My guy is a Nord which is a 2 hand weapon master & Heavy armor. He is pure tank for hand to hand combat and I kill most enemies in one to two slashes. But Dragons really give me a hard time if I am caught out in open, they drive by burn me lol. Once they land I can do some serious damage but getting them to land is tough.

I have been using scrolls which have a long range lighting attack or I have been using the whirl wind sprint shout which lets me run at high speed. When they come to shoot fire on me, I use the speed to get out of range. They get frustrated and land after some time of this.

I have put all skill points into Heavy armor and 2 hand weapons. 60% strike bonus for two hand weapons, extra bleeding damage on battle axes and great swords. Then in heavy armor, 40% heavy armor bonus & 25% bonus if wearing all heavy armor.

I went the route of the companions and became a werewolf. It is BEAST against standard enemies, but if you face guys with Silver swords or weapons you can get killed easy. If you are overwhelmed just go beast mode and slaughter everyone and feed on their corpse

I love the magic a lot that I can't wait to do another game with magic as my main choice.

Thanks! I assumed that would be heavy armor but I was wrong.

I guess I have to add smithing as one of my perks.

I currently have Fire shout, Push, and Whirl Wind Sprint. I have elemental which makes you ghost like and lighting fast strikes. But I need more dragon souls to unlock those two.

So the level 2 Push shout will stun dragons? I just been using the speed to get out of their range of attacks. Then speed into range, land some strikes and try to get out of range.

Question about getting one of the shouts (Source of power in lost tongue side quest):

I am climbing up the stairs and I keep getting killed by this stone that shoots ice when I get near it. I can't dodge the blast and I get killed even if I block. Is there something that I'm supposed to do before climbing the stairs or do I need to level up? I tried attacking it but that didn't work either.

Markarth Stables, sadly in my next quest my dog was killed due to a stupid accident by me. He got injured then I accidentally used my flames to kill an enemy but they finished off my dog.
