Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Exactly, I also don't have a problem running faster then anything I've encountered and use guerrilla tactics if I need to. Poison on my arrows also helps. If my shot didn't kill them, the poison can while they spend time looking for me.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Also, even though I have it I must imagine the perk that slows down time when you zoom would be helpful for hitting a moving target. Oh ya, there is also a critical strike perk that I have.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
They will wear any armor you give them and equip the best stuff. I have Sven wearing a full suit of fine steel armor. As for weapons, they will equip whatever weapon does the most damage. I used to have him rocking the sword & board, but now he wields a mighty two handed broadsword. They seem to have an infinite supply of arrows but I took away his crappy bow and gave him a nicer one.
They do seem to be invincible from my experience, but friendly fire is what can and will kill them so be careful. If they take a knee from battle, the enemies will leave them alone and go only after you but if there is too much mayhem going on and something or someone decides to take a shot at them while on one knee they will be killed.
I saw a giant knock my companion a mile into the sky only to see him return to me later in the game lol.
If your companion is well equipped he can and will steal many kills from you hehe. To avoid this simply ask him to stay put if you are coming up on a bunch of enemies and you want to kill them all yourself.
The best thing is that they can carry a ton of loot for you, but it isn't infinite, they eventually will not be able to carry more after a while. Once you are at a vendor take it all back from them and encumber yourself since the vendor is in front of you.
I blacksmith and upgrade weapons & armor myself and then give the best stuff to myself and the next best stuff to my companion.
As far as them taking any healing potions you might give them, I'm not sure. I'll keep a few on my companion and monitor it to see if he takes any during or after battles. That, I haven't tried yet, but I will.Comment

I have stopped playing Rugby Challenge & Madden altogether right now. I am even wondering how I'm going to fit in Saints Row when it drops tomorrow (I already pre ordered it @ Gamestop).
This game has consumed me and my son, so much that when I bought it I knew tray time might become a problem for both of us so I bought two copies. One for each system so that we could compare!Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I miss the way you could customize your character at the beginning. I wanted to be a Dark Elf with Long Blade and Blocking starting bonuses, but it wasn't meant to be. I went with an imperial for my first play through.
BTW finally found the Companions and started that side quest chain. I love this game.DON'T PANICComment
