I completed the Legion story last night and am now going to attempt to finish the Thieves Guild, have a feeling a 58 lockpick skill wont help me in that journey lol.
I'm only like 61 in lock pick and I've been done with the theives guild for a long time. I don't even use any perks on it, I just fiddle with it and carry a lot of lock picks.

Oh, and just me and a pack of horses killing a dragon.

Well then.. I've been playing as a stealth character using dual daggers. I'm at the final part of a tomb where it's pretty much fighting that one tough miniboss guy who raises out of the casket. Well, my sneak skill is pretty good where I could sneak up to anyone. I also have 30x sneak attack, but this dude ate my double attack times 30 and he still had half his health left. He gets up and disarms me... turned invisible, got the **** out.

Ok I might be in good shape than, I have about 120 lockpicks. Only figured a higher lockpick level wouldn't hurt.

Working on my second set of daedra armor. I need this one to specialize in anti dragon. These high level dragons drain my life way too fast.

Then I have to up my enchanting to get the double enchant perk. Thats gonna be sick.

I'm doing the burned burned down house mission where I gotta find out what happened and report it. I played hide and seek with the ghost girl. When I find the grave it won't let me open it or whatever. I also cleared the vampires out of the cave and that released the ghost girl. I just wanna know how do I open the grave since I've completed the mission.

Dragon Plate (Uses more bones) is Heavy Armor. Daedra Armor is better than this in both ratings and looks.
Dragon Scale (Uses more Scales) is the best light armor.

It all depends on what you level up. I'm at like 85 for light and only 40 for heavy, so light is obviously better for me at this point.

Finishing up a bunch of misc quests, and ran into something interesting. Slight story spoilers..

                  Favorite towns?

Right now I have to say Solitude, mainly for the castle town feel. Maraketh gives me a horrible vibe every time I go there. Whiterun will always be my main base of operations, as it's the first town I came across.

Anyone else have the imperial army quest line bug on them. Im basically trapped between quests right now and Im not happy man. I spent 3 hours making a new daedra set and enchanting it perfectly to get past a part and boom, locked out of the quest line.

Has anyone else had trouble with the murder quest in Windhelm, aka Blood on the Ice starting? I've seen that this quest is very bugged and a lot of people can't get it to trigger, or have other issues along the way.

                      Slight spoiler/Warning

Turns out in my case I can't get it to start is because the person who is supposed to be found dead first, I already killed for a Dark Brotherhood quest. Now I can't do the quest, buy the House, or become a Thane of Windhelm, all because somebody thought it would be a good Idea to have a character essential to all of that, die as a part of another quest. How damn stupid is that?

I kicked *** in that case. I was getting my Gill Grissom, original flavor CSI, on while searching for clues. What was nice was how things played out at the end when the killer was sussed out. The Steward thanked me and the quest board updated indicating that the quest was over, so I could have just moved on to whatever I was going to do next. I however wanted to see exactly what was going to happen.

Mild ambient background scenery spoiler-The Steward called over one of the random guards who you never see actually do anything but walk around a little bit and spout various platitudes. The guard, who was a woman, pull out her weapon, and she and the steward started escorting the killer to the dungeon. I followed them all the way there, and they actually walked through several halls and down several staircases into the dungeon room where the guard unlocked the cell, yelled at the killer to get in, then locked the door behind the killer. The killer ominously says, "This isn't over"

I keep waiting to hear that they have broken out and are on the lamb.

                          Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

By now we've probably all started multiple different types of characters, so what's everyone's favorite way to play?

For me, it's the stealthy thief approach. Light armor, no magic, dual wielding, alchemy, backstabs, long-range snipes with a bow. Not an assassin, but definitely a thief.

Lately I've also been experimenting with a simple heavy armored sword & board Imperial who I have found surprisingly fun. The shield really adds an extra dimension to combat.

As for least enjoyable, I'd have to say my mage. I just couldn't get into it - especially the Destruction tree. Combat didn't seem to be as dynamic or as fun as with other classes. Also, pure destruction mages seem to be more limited than any other type of character at the beginning of the game.

I definitely have gotten the most out of my rogue, but I'm enjoying playing my mace in on hand, spell in the other Orc. Haven't tried sword and board or pure mage yet.

As a stealth guy, I actually feel pretty overpowered. I lead in with a long range stealth attack that does x3 damage. One shots most mobs and takes off a pretty good chuck from bosses, especially when it crits. When they come for me I just stand perfectly still and they usually don't find me. Then I hit em' with another to finish them off. I'm doing the Forbidden Legends quest and I've killed 2 of the bosses like that in 2-3 shots. If I use any potions or poisons, forget about it.

Lately, I've been trying to take a more "direct" approach. Direct meaning that instead of sniping people I'll sneak up behind for x30 backstabs. Instant kills even bosses, which is just ridiculous lol. I'm using Mehrune's Dagger, a Glass Dagger (Legendary-Soul Trap Enchant), Ebony Bow (Legendary) and default DB armor. Yeah I definitely feel overpowered as ****.

Yeah, I think Rouge is my favorite. Mage is fun too, but for the life of me I can't find any new spells, I'm assuming they're level based and that's why.

I don't really mess with smithing or enchanting anymore, as it just seems to be a different path to the same goal. I have a level 20 char with Daedric armor(Legendary) and it feels literally no different than when I was just focusing on combat skills, as in the enemies still take about the same amount of time to kill and I still take the same damage. The way enemies level makes it kind of redundant until you've maxed out your other combat skills, or at least that's been my experience.
