He actually wanted a hide helmet.

Is there anyway you could make the horses stop wandering off after I hop off? I would hop off of the horse to fight a frost troll or two up ahead, by the time I'm done and made my way back up a hill, my horse is nowhere to be found. I can only get him back if i fast travel.

Started the day level 9 and in novice rob gear. Ended it level 20 and in full Dragonplate armor.

Anyone know how to enchant armor and weapons yet, and are you able to do so after you've already equipped the armor?

I've never played an Elder Scrolls game (or really any other recent RPG style game outside of Fallout 3), is there any harm in going out and exploring the map and picking up a ton of quests or clearing out caves and dungeons on my own, or am I possibly going to be doing quests out of order and messing up/missing a bunch of plot information that would have been revealed if i had just progressed through the main quests and found the places that way? Thanks

Do whatever you want. Seriously. There is absolutely no harm whatsoever from going out and just doing whatever you feel like doing. You can ignore the main quest line altogether if you want.

The great thing about this game is that you can pretty much do anything you want. You can do side quests first and then go back to the main quests. You can run right through the main quests and then do the side quest. You can just join a few guilds and do those quests. Really is the most open game you will ever play, you dont have to do anything in any certain order.

With that said, it is probably best to follow the main quest somewhat through your first play through if you are new. Will give you a good feel of how things work. Plus you will discover a ton of side quests just by exploring. It is almost impossible to do all the quests on one playthrough anyway, as sometimes you will only get certain quests if certain people and conditions are correct.

God... this is so annoying. I cannot go anywhere near Markarth without getting attacked. I even ran into some bounty hunter out in the middle of nowhere that totally kicked my *** twice.

My bounty is seriously probably about 50,000 in that keep and I can't really do anything.

I have that same bug for the same reason but luckily my bounty is only 5 gold (when I killed all of them the bounty was supposed to be erased but it just went down to 5). They always notice me, but they never stop me. If I initiate them they try to arrest me but I just tab out and keep walking. Definitely something that needs to be patched.

Does anyone know if you can get a ride from Flakreath to other cities? I cant seem to find the dude with the horse and carriage that gives rides.

Well I finally lost Barbas once I ended his questline. Not sure how I feel. On one hand he seemed to aggro pretty much everyone letting me shoot them at range with a bow or hit them with dual daggers. On the other hand I won't get stuck inside rooms or doorways anymore and won't randomly get pushed out of the way while trying to shoot a bow while sneaking.

Now I just have to deal with Lydia setting off arrows traps in every dungeon. Maybe she'll eventually learn.

So as I was winding things up for the night I stopped by Whiterun to drain the local merchantry and stuff my keepables in Breezehome, the framerate slowed to a crawl. I tried going in and out of buildings, still chugging, so I exit Skyrim to turn off the system and figured I'd note the file size. I start up the PS3 save utility and notice I had 65 saves for Skyrim, I pare that down to 8 and restart the game, Whiterun was once again butter.

Take that for what it's worth, I guess.

There's like a million followers to be had. I had Lydia offed early in the game deflecting aggro, replaced her with a female dark elf assassin, and am now deciding between a male Orc and a male Redguard.

Autosave. Load the file saved prior to the horses death.
