Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
With these sort of games I prefer to walk around in 3rd person view then fight in 1st person as it just seems way more accurate that way. I really hope they have improved the 3rd person view though as it was pretty sketchy at times in oblivion...Comment

New footage:
Game Informer
With the release of Skyrim coming up faster than our free time would prefer, we brought together Andrew Reiner, Jeff Cork, and Joe Juba to discuss the knowns and unknowns of Elder Scrolls V. There's plenty of new footage sprinkled throughout their discussion, so stay on the look out for shots of new environments and enemies. Check out the video preview to learn why Skyrim will be one of the most exciting releases this year, and how much Andrew Reiner hates the bugs infesting the shores of the Mississippi river. Enjoy!

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I play 90 to 95% first person, and just go 3rd while I'm running in the forrest, or the odd time sneaking just to see. I like how if you click down you can pan around your character because the designers obviously know people want to do this from time to time.
I'm on the fence about looking at Flawless' links...now that we're so close, it is more of a spoiler. I see a trailer a month ago, and encounter the foe I may not remember or only recall after a fight, but this fresh it could spoil moments...In fact them showing entire dragon fights i think was already too much.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I've watched the very first trailer, and I think that's it. I will watch no more. This game is already on the list to buy, and my iron-will has held out thus far for not looking at media. Definitely excited, it's getting near fellas.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The guy getting his head chopped off in town came out of nowhere. Wow
I can't believe how sharp that is for the Xbox 360 version. It looks like a high res PC game.Comment
