I'm now haggling with my wife to see if I can have the entire weekend to myself to be able to play without getting into hot water.

So what is the deal with the leveling system. Will it be like Oblivion or will it be a normal traditional one in where you will have some areas you need to stay away from till you get stronger and will you be able to revisit areas where your a god.

I loved Oblivion save for the leveling system. I soured on the game after putting in 45 plus hours and then getting my *** handed to me by a roadside bandit. Made no sense to me.

And yes I am getting this game on release day as It looks amazing and will probably take up over 200 hours of my life this upcoming year LOL.

There's a video a couple pages back in this thread or it might be a ways back lol not exactly sure in which a developer stated that the leveling system has been fixed and it's more like fallout 3 so once you reach the higher levels you will be rewarded as your foes do not scale with you.

And I've heard that the game has roughly around 300 hours of content, so you might have to budget another 100 hours to this game lol.

My girl has given me the week to play non stop. No chores no nothing, I just have to cook dinner other than that I get to play for the first week non stop.

She also is cool with me comandering the big TV during the World Series, even though Survivor is on, I still get the good TV.

As odd as it sounds if I start Oblivion again I probably won't be able to put it down.

I turned on New Vegas for a second. Then it froze and I had to hard boot the PS3.

Even though I am getting this on PC I really hope the engine is solid.

I have never finished New Vegas.

I thought about it, but I want to save every tiny bit of dungeon exploring, pickpocketing, murdering and sneaking around for Skyrim because I know if I start Oblivion and then head right into Skyrim I'm going to game myself out of the mood.

I have been thinking about playing New Vegas again, as I have not finished it either. Although, I remember the story not being nearly as good as the last one.

I'm just glad they are finally releasing a new elder scrolls. I wasn't a fan of the Fallout Series to much, got boring fast.

Those towns look A-mazing! That one at the beginning with the NPC walking over a little bridge over the water? Wow! Res spells? They only showed it being used on a chicken (Arise chicken!) but I'm hoping/expecting we'll be able to use them on companions.

Release date can't get here fast enough.
