Get off work in about 3 1/2 hrs. Take shower and nap a few hours. Then i'll play OOTP12 (Fictional league starting with draft) until Thursday night... Pick up game and then GO TIME!

Luckily after tonight I'm off until Sunday night... Woot!

I don't really have the time to watch it (heading to bed), but do you think that these videos will calm my fear that the PS3 version is in any way inferior to the 360 version?

That footage looks great nothing to fear for PS3 users.

Well I was able to get roughly 5 hrs in and also was able to finish my 1st quest. Everything about the this game up to this point has been a ride.

I don't play games to find glitches or how many buttons are on someones shirt so I can't comment on that kind of stuff but I can say I could not put it down last night and had to force myself to quit with great regret.

Not sure if I will be on today due to a long day at work which I am starting to feel sick thinking about this game. Cant wait till everyone gets this game because it is no doubt worth its weight and gold.

Skyrim on the Xbox 360 is low res without an install

I posted up about the optional Xbox 360 and mandatory PS3 install yesterday but now it seems the story has changed a bit.
While this isn’t the official viewpoint it looks like the Xbox 360 version is basically a low res version if you don’t install and has followed the Battlefield 3 HD res pack idea.

OK, so I deleted the game from my HD and running it straight from the disc seems to help improve some of textures a little bit. The downside is that load times are significantly slowed by running the game from the disc instead of the HD. To each his own, but I'll take super-quick load times over a tiny graphics boost any day. Besides, I think the game looks fine, even without any "missing" textures.

The only time I felt the graphics were subpar was when I first started. This game is gorgeous imo. I might add I have it installed on my hd

I can only imagine what this game is gonna look like on the PC. Gotta get me a new rig
