Too bad there wasn't some SP DLC, ND already confirmed that. After finishing this off last night, I want more of Uncharted.

Is Golden Abyss a VITA launch title?

Yes it will be a launch title. Supposedly it is launching in Japan. So it will definitely be here in the States on launch.

And I know what you mean. I wanted so much more after 2. And I know I will want more after 3.

The acting is stellar. Sucks you in and makes you feel for the characters. Love it.

As good as any TV show like LOST or good Action movie.

That is good to hear about Golden Abyss.

I like MP after playing some of it last night and I am considering the Season Pass for $25. Have we heard what will be in the season pass? I wasn't paying too much attention to it since the beta kind of had me turned off a bit, but it seems like ND really stepped it up with MP since the beta. I stopped playing the beta a few weeks before the game release so I bet many of you guys got to see the better gameplay at that point in MP.

Looking at them both, Uncharted 3 takes **** moments to a whole new level. There are a lot of thin spots in the story, especially compared to the first two, but what happens during that story makes up for it IMO.

I agree with you on that Elena, Chloe, and Cutter could have all been treated better with more fleshed out story to tell with their characters.

I won't say anything Jim, but I think once you get through the second half of the game that E.P.I.C. feel returns and to an extent at times feels a little over the top. I have come to accept that considering this is the modern day Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider. Even the supernatural aspects of the first two games is gone to a degree, depending on how you look at something later in the game.

Just try to stick with it till the end, you will be glad you did.

Oh I am definitely sticking with it: I am even hoping to finish it tonight. I love all the characters way too much to stop now.

That is on of the defining things about this series. The characters suck you in and makes you just wanting more of them. Love it!

Online play is even more addictive. The game modes are fun, and best thing is you can upload a ten minute match to your XMB, then upload it from there to YouTube. You don't have to pay additional money to do it either.

Finished the game tonight and while I enjoyed it, it didn't suck me in like UC1 and UC2 did.

The whole story was just kind of odd to me. I felt like it didn't clearly explain why Drake was looking for "The Atlantis of the Sands" to begin with. It just seemed to bounce around and not "set up" the rest of the story like UC1 and 2 did. The graphics in this game are absolutely stunning! The SP was noticeably shorter than UC2 and the transitions between cut scenes and actual game play seemed a little much at times...specifically in the last chapter. I do think the fighting system and A.I. in this game is the best in the series without a doubt. I thought the end of the game was a disappointment. No boss battle like UC2 where you had to work your *** off to beat Lazarevic. Just a short fight sequence where you throw a couple punches and that's it. I didn't even get to shoot that b**** Marlowe. I wanted that sense of accomplishment after beating the game, and I didn't get that. UC3 made me feel like I was "watching" a movie rather than "playing" through a movie, which is what UC2 accomplished IMO. Having said all this, I loved the game and this is with out a doubt one of if not, my favorite series of all time. It was going to be very difficult for Naughty Dog to out do UC2, and I think UC3 fell short of that, but it's still a great game. I'll eventually play it again on crushing and do some trophy hunting.

So far I'm digging the MP, spent a few hours on that tonight. Enjoyed UC2 MP and UC3 hasn't disappointed so far.

Is it just me or does Elena look different???

I know ND aged the characters a bit, but she doesn't look like Elena from the 2 previous games. IMO.

Just a thought.

Yes and she doesn't look as good as she did in UC1 and UC2. Her eyes aren't as "blue" like they were in UC1 and UC2. I noticed it first thing when I saw here and it bugged me. Don't know why ND changed that about her.

You'll get them to align eventually. It doesn't even have to be perfect, it'll switch to a cut-scene when they're close enough.

LOL, I was terrible for most of the matches too. I had one good one where I got a 5 kill streak and proceeded to ruin that by dying 5 times in a row!

Was still fun, regardless of the outcomes.

Yeah, I agree. Blzer and I got lucky the other night, because those we played against were pretty bad. Some of those guys tonight were pretty good in TDM.

The story and action becomes more **** as it goes. There is a lot of gunplay and that can get repetitive, but I am not sure how to avoid that.

I am frustrated by the Nate/Elena storyline. Next game can they just start out together please? 3 straight games you are supposed to hope they get back together. I love her character and want her in future games but this story arc is old and tired.

Still love Sully and Nate together. What a team! Enjoyed Cutter and Salim as new characters as well. It would be nice to add memorable characters like this that could perhaps be killed later - there would be a real sense of loss since they survived an adventure with Nate.

Liked the sinking ocean liner and crashing plane, 2 very cool sets. Still feel that the opening was a bit off, especially compared to 2. The fighting mechanic is not so different that the game needed to start off with the barroom brawl. It really pales compared to 2's opening.

Overall I'd give the game an 8,5 out of 10, maybe a 9. 2 was a 9,5 for me and 1 was a 9.0. Still love the moment in 1 when first spot the U-boat on the mountain. Glad the supernatural stuff was toned down for 3.
