Just to save you time, it mostly pertains to people's few disappointments/complaints about the same, sided by their favorite chapters/moments they played through (though they obviously contain story spoilers at the same time).

Uncharted 3 Sells 3.8 Million Copies
Sony has now confirmed that the number represents units sold.

Despite some confusion this morning about whether the number represented units shipped or units sold, Sony has now confirmed to IGN that Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception sold 3.8 million copies worldwide on its first day in stores.

Nick Caplin, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's head of communications, said that "Uncharted 3 is a blockbuster and these incredible sales figures reflect that."

"Consumers are clearly as eager to play the game as critics were to heap praise upon it, and the team at Naughty Dog deserve this fantastic reception at retail," he added.

If this is true, which I have a little hard time believing it it's the first franchise in ps3 era to sell that much this quick. Hopefully they can start getting this quality type of game with some of the rest of their franchises and maybe scale back on some shooters or reboot them.

Wow. I finally got a chance to sit down and play for an hour without interruption, and made it through the first 5 chapters. The game looks AMAZING! The voice acting, again, is off the charts.

Just found out my wife has to attend some band function at her school tonight, so guess who is going to get to crank out a few more chapters of UC3?

On Chapter 16 right now, but man, Chapters 13-15 (IIRC) were a bitch. Awesome levels though and the most exhilarating so far.

So I bought this the day after it came out. I couldn't help myself. Found myself not being able to turn it out because I was so into the story.

The AI is frustrating though if you play on the last 2 difficulties. Basically have perfect accuracy with all grenades and gunfire.

Also, I beat it pretty much in a day and a half.

Kinda disappointed me to learn that you didn't have to beat the game on "hard" to unlock "crushing" difficulty. You can actually beat the game on any difficulty and still unlock crushing.

I beat the game on the first play through on hard. At least i'm more prepared for crushing.

Which chapter is it? Is it the one...

... where it's very water-based with all the sunken ships, and you're trying to find Sully?

If so, the gun battle stuff in that level was far too dreadful. Don't know where the next checkpoint was in that area, but it is a real doozy.

Kinda disappointed me to learn that you didn't have to beat the game on "hard" to unlock "crushing" difficulty. You can actually beat the game on any difficulty and still unlock crushing.

I beat the game on the first play through on hard. At least i'm more prepared for crushing.

I was quite surprised how Hard wasn't so bad in UC3, might have a chance to beat the game on Crushing which I might try next.

Stealth is your friend. Once you are out of the original ship, go down into the water and start taking guys down quietly along the right side but stay in the water. Keep making your way along the right side and eventually you will make it to the far corner of the map, from here it's just a matter of taking guys down. Use the RPGs, the turret and there is a sniper pistol up high on the right side. The secret for me though was stealth and then firefight from the far corner.

The exit, since it's a little hard to find, is on the far side of the map from the start, right next to the turret, you have to climb the mast. Took me a long time to work that one out.
