    Re: Mass Effect 3

Out of pure respect for BioWare, I won't even read any info myself. But what little info has been mentioned here doesn't even strike me as objectionable for those doing so. I mean, giving the player the option to play a story driven game or an action driven game or the same mix of both is brilliant. Frankly, it tells me that the game should be IMMENSE that you might want to experience less of it and still get a good experience out of it.

Frankly, I can't wait to see how cutscenes and dialog are handled. The one takeaway I always had with ME2 was how stiff and clunky movements and all were, but if they're ready to lean on that driving the game for the player, that's all I need to know they've changed up things to be smoother and more natural.

        Re: Mass Effect 3

I've been staying away from 98% of things related to this because with ME 2 it felt like I knew everything by the time I actually played it and there were no suprises. However I just read this earlier: http://www.gamesradar.com/mass-effec...ions-answered/

The game's new "Galaxy at War" system measures your Shepard's Galactic Readiness and weighs possible outcomes of the game's final battle, factoring in not just single-player performance in Mass Effect 3, but your actions in earlier games. “Multiplayer will definitely have an effect on your single-player experience through the Galaxy at War system,” explains Houston, “so as you play the multiplayer and the Co-Op and the more successful you are, the more that will affect your Galactic Readiness level which will then affect your end game result.”
If I can't get the good ending to this game without playing multiplayer I'm going to pile up all 3 games in the series and burn them. Multiplayer should have NOTHING to do with single player. Madden was bad enough.

They've said over and over again that you can get the best possible ending without doing multiplayer but doing the multiplayer stuff will make it easier. Even if you've been staying away from news, in every article I've seen about it they go out of their way to mention that you don't have to do it to get the best ending.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Have had my CE reserved for a while now. I think back when they first showed it they mentioned the details of the extra character and mission. Of course it might have changed since then.

I've gotten all the books/comics but since this comes with the Invasion comic I'll hold of on getting it until it comes with the CE.

I bought the collector's editions for the first two and I had this one pre-ordered since they announced it. I just hope that the art book is like Skyrim's and not the tiny one that's usually included, even though I'm sure that's what it's gonna be. I'm still a little sad that they couldn't do the ultimate edition that they had been talking about over the past year, I would've paid whatever they charged without hesitation.

Ultimate would have been awesome. Especially if it included a model SR2 or something like that.

I didn't get Mass Effect 1 (I had a chance but decided not to, which I regret), but I got Mass Effect 2.

Will I still get the love triangle because I romanced Miranda in Mass Effect 2, or does nothing happen? Because I heard that if you didn't get Mass Effect 1 it assumes you romanced Ashley, so I was wondering if it would then make that a love triangle.

I watched enough to know that its going to be legendary and didn't watch the rest. After being late to the party with the first two I don't want to spoil this one.
