Re: Mass Effect 3
That was a good interview. The scale of the conflict and what you're trying to do is really exciting.
After all, if every race in the galaxy bands up on the Reapers, they have a chance. Every other time the Reapers appeared to exterminate a race, the race they were exterminating was alone, right?
At least everyone knows humanity is in trouble. Maybe the Batarians can stop being little babies and actually help us!
And if the Geth are an ally... that would be awesome.
Thats why I love this game, the Krogan are probably not at full strength unless you cure them, the Rachni probably arent unless you free the queen, etc. Everything is based off other decisions.
It wouldnt surprise me if the decision to get that guys wife back effects the effectiveness somehow of the Alliance weapons against the reapers. Like if you had the alliance keep her to run tests the Alliance get a bonus against the Reapers while if you return the wife the Alliance suffers because of it.
Also the whole council as well. Will having a all human Council effect the alliances of the other races and make human interests first in the Reaper Invasion and if you saved the original Council do they favor all other races more like before or do they become more equal?
Im so freaking excited for this game just to see how many different results I can get in the ending.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Mass Effect 3
In ME2, the Geth seem to be reactionary, aside from the "heretics" that followed the Reapers. Thought it was interesting that Legion mentions that Geth do not live on the Quarian's planet itself, and actually act as caretakers.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
I doubt the Geth will give up the Quarian homeworld so easily though, especially after what they tried to do to the Geth.
Something tells me with the Quarians launching their attack to reclaim their homeworld (I'm pretty sure Bioware said they were in the middle of that), an alliance between the Geth and Quarians, no matter how temporary or strenuous, might be the hardest thing to get in Mass Effect 3.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
Well, you're thinking about a total takeover from Reapers, or would you rather mess around with other races for pity problems when the universe is on the eve of its end? I'm sure it will play a big factor in the game though, but I might be putting in to much real life logic into my thinking...Comment

There are a lot of strained relationships to fix and I think the Krogans are going to be a handful. They are stubborn fools the lot of them but they will be a crucial part of the war effort due to their combat abilities.
The thing im interested in seeing is say you get the Rachni to team up and all the races come together for a battle of great proportions and they manage to defeat the Reapers, bring peace to the Galaxy. What then, you are going to have to give the Krogan ships to help fight and due to thier need to fight will they take advantage? Or will Wrex(or whoever is there if Wrex is dead) unite them and make order. The Rachni populate fast, will they be a concern of them taking over more planets like before or will the friendship with the queen get everything stable.
This is why I cant wait for this game to drop, so many what ifs, will this happen, so on, so on. Its going to be great.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Mass Effect 3
It will more or less set the bar on how the ending is, since in any situation. The more united force will usually ruin a poorly formed one. So that would make sense...Comment

You get the armor just for playing the demo. I don't know about the gun though because I hated the demo and deleted it shortly after starting it.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

*late edit*
Apparently you have to complete the demo for the gun. Going through the little story bit, plus 45 minutes of free time.Last edited by LambertandHam; 01-19-2012, 05:20 PM.Comment
