Still, it was nice to see them take ideas from 1 and 2 and improve upon them in 3.
I actually just offloaded 1 and 2. However, I will be keeping 3 for forever. The game is probably the My number one game of all time.

I can't sell anything ME on it. Too big of a fan. I love all 3 but it would be nice if they ever redid ME1 with ME3 graphics/game play. Won't happen but I'd pony up the money.

I was thinking the same thing actually. It would be awesome..but it would kill that awesome back and forth with conrad verner in 3.

There were times during college where I sold some of my games cause I needed quick money but even though the limited edition of Mass Effect 1 would've given me a couple hundred dollars, I never sold it. There's no way I'm selling any of my Mass Effect stuff.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I'd be all for a remake of ME1 just so PS3 players can get their hands on it.

same. I even have ME1 and ME2 on both 360 and PC. only have ME3 on PC though, but luckily can use my 360 saves on PC, so all my 360 characters(which I had more of) could continue on into ME3.

Oh my GOD did I just play the weirdest game. Game was lagging and glitching out HARD. I'd pump round after round into cannibals and they'd just stand there, disappear, reappear 5 feet to the left then die. Banshees would just stand there and shout at me. One of the teammates was staring up at the ceiling for half the match.

It was friggin' hilarious. Wish I could've captured it.

I should never have sold 1 and 2. I bought 3 during the K-mart 19.99 sale but haven't played it yet. Debating whether to grab 1 and 2 to keep in collection.

This series is a must have for me. I also recently re-bought Gears1 for $7.00 at 2nd and Charles to have my collection for that game complete as well.

ME 1 is still my favorite. Call me crazy, but despite the clunkiness I felt like they started shedding off RPG elements in favor of a more action driven experience. Plus, I still like that storyline the best.

Yea...I agree w/ you here, but I enjoyed the trade-off just as much. I wish that a game like Skyrim incorporated reputation and paragon/renegade dynamics like Mass Effect does.

Oh yeah, I definitely appreciated the cleaner and more fluid combat and overall "polished" nature of the game. The inventory and lack of any real upgrades/loot disappointed me, but I think the character relationships were improved.

I never thought that the inventory was that great in the first one. They just had a bunch of similar looking/playing guns and while the upgradeable pieces changed them a little bit, it felt like I was collecting the same things over and over again.
