Personally I think a clone is an incredibly uncreative idea.

Shepard has done enough, lets let another man or woman save the galaxy from something else.

I love this series. I wish I could've played the 1st one and gone all the way through, but 2 was fantastic and I'm loving 3 so far.

The Collectors have returned, in Mass Effect 3: Retaliation! The Retaliation Pack is the newest expansion to Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer experience and the largest upgrade to date. The Collectors have returned and are available as a new enemy in multiplayer matches. Prepare to face off against the Collector Praetorian, Scion, Abomination, Trooper, and Captain. Reports have also come in that Cerberus has enlisted the Dragoon to their ranks and the Geth are deploying new Drones to the battlefield.

A host of new characters have joined the war to fight this new threat, including the Turian Havoc Soldier, Turian Ghost Infiltrator, with many more being added on a regular basis. Wage war across six maps, featuring new environmental hazards and traps. A regular rotation of Firebases will be introduced to different hazards as they come under attack. Survive the onslaught of Acid, Lightning, Meltdowns, Sandstorms, Swarms and Whiteouts! The Collectors have also brought deadly new weapons to the fight: the Collector Assault Rifle, Sub-Machine Gun, and Sniper Rifle. Unlock these weapons and new equipment upgrades to build to your arsenal.

Think you are the best soldier in the Alliance? Make sure to track your progress in the new “Challenges” database in Retaliation. Complete various multiplayer assignments and feats of strength to unlock titles and banners to display in-game, then compare your progress against your friend.

The Retaliation begins on Oct 9th.

Gotta say, find the Collectors fun to fight. Husks aren't just annoying bugs you swat with impunity. You let those abominations get to you and you can get really messed up. I was used to the Praetorian being super slow. But one of those bad boys actually snuck up on me and One Hit KO'd. And when I was nearly killing one the damn thing actually combat rolled away then jumped up and hit me.

Going to take a break from 2k and giving the new multiplayer map a run. Gotta give it to the developers props for all the FREE multiplayer add ons. Nice suprise in this day and age where games want to nickle and dime you for every little add on.

During New York Comic Con today, BioWare revealed a price and release date for Mass Effect 3’s Omega downloadable content. The pack will launch on November 27th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC for $15 (1200 Microsoft Points), and likely on November 28th for European PlayStation 3 players.

Omega is reportedly the largest Mass Effect 3 add-on yet, and is “double the size” of the previous largest pack according to producer Mike Gamble. The story follows Aria T'loak and her attempts to retake Omega from Cerberus control.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Should finally get to see Aria justify the one rule of Omega. She's gotta be a crazy strong biotic. I'm anticipating at least one cutscene of her owning an Atlas or a Phantom. Or owning a phantom WITH an Atlas.

Huh...I just now noticed that the YMIR Mech from ME2 is basically a smaller, unmmaned Atlas.

Anyone still playing the multiplayer? They have changed it significantly as of the last update, and it's definitely a lot tougher now. Not sure that's a good thing, BTW...

Read all of them except the most recent one (if it's even still available to buy). There's only about 3 and they're cheap.

The guy who wrote it had nothing to do with the series and got a lot of the lore wrong. Bioware apologized and said that they were going to put a new version of the book out but I don't know if that ever happened.
