Just started act 2. Def a lot like Borderlands. Specifically the Zombie Island. Even the weapon ideas are the same. Instead of electric rounds its electric machetes. Its hard to put down. Just that one more mission mindset. The straightjacket guys are gonna give me trouble tho. I'm using the asian women. I started out not liking her but she gets a lot better.

The weapon degredation is cool tho. Even tho they degrade way too fast. So far I see a lot of ideas that can be expanded on. Hopefully it gets a sequel that can make the production values even better and an expanded skill tree. If its an island I want a volcano eruption to be involved somehow. Lol

A few more points...
The respawn system is broken. Sometimes it respawns in a mission hub. Sometimes behind a locked door I haven't even been in yet.

I know its an RPG but headshots are headshots. Guns and ammo are scarce enough that they should be a near instant kill.

I love having an infected run at me and lop their heads off in a well times cleaver swipe. Pretty neat.

I wish the characters emoted more. You can def tell they're using some outdated tech.

Apparently Xian is going commando in this game, there's a youtube video out showing it that I can't post here (for obvious reasons) but it's currently the first story on Kotaku.

First of all I don't know who is a sadder sack, the artist who made the texture without panties or the guy who tried that hard to see up Xian's skirt.

Besides that, the ESRB is going to have to come down hard on Deep Silver/Techland/Square Enix.

I just watched the youtube footage and I really think this is a case of the internet trying to "create" a story. There is very little that shows, happens in less than a second, and isn't blatant. It's nothing like hot coffee IMO, that was an actual mini-game. This just shows poor taste by an artist.

Finished Dead Island. Fun rental, enjoyed it til about 85% in then just wanted to be done. Got kind of repetitive. Solid 7 though.

We can co-op right? I'd like to play with someone, I just started if someone wants to play through with me! So far I just don't like the combat, seems like i'm moving all around and it's making me dizzy. Probably be better if I get a gun or something.

So after reaching level 30, I'm looking forward to leveling up less and less. Feels like a grind. However I'm finding some badass weapons and that propels me to play further.

I never use and hardly remember my fury attack. Do people actually use it?

I accidentally activated my fury mode last night and was like "What the hell is going on?" I have never used it. Maybe I should give it a try.
