I'm just not sure if this game would hold my attention very long. I do like the open world aspect.

Uh, SIR we are playing this then. I haven't really played it at all yet. I jumped into a friend's game last night -- they were like level 17 and up -- while I was a one. Good thing the game scales.

I'm only a level 5 I think. Did you get to the lighthouse?

I joined their game and they were in some pretty far spot. I had literally never played the game so I have not technically started from the beginning yet.

Could be the capturing device (FRAPS?) combined with the the video compression.

I gotta say, this game makes me turn into an animal.

The amount of time I kick a zombie down and start hacking on it's limbs makes me question myself. Although, hacking off a zombie's head with a scythe is just...so totally awesome.

Also, after setting a zombie on fire, I find it incredibly awesome that the flesh melts away and they actually look like a pile of bones and charred meat.

The characters may suck as well, but the scenery and the sound are top notch. I don't really care for any of the characters, but as for it being a zombie thriller that you can totally engross yourself in, it's top notch. Better than any of the survival in Left 4 Dead, that's for sure. Game can get really damn hard if you get ganged up on by a horde.

Yep...hard to shrink a 4gig file to 600mb and not lose frames..it recorded in 60fps
