Yeah, there's tons you can do, unlock more guns with the towers, all the other missions, clear the pirates from areas, etc.

I'm really really loving this game, can't complain at all so far.

Well, I do understand the minor hate on the UI elements showing up too much (So tired of the message getting flashed to go to my next story mission), but it's a very minor nitpick and I think they'll update that eventually.

I agree... Loving the game A LOT!!! So much to do!!

I used the bow a lil bit but the silenced sniper rifle is the way to go. When taking out big cats, I'm bringing in the heavy .50

On the 2nd island you can unlock the .50 for personal customization and add the silencer, its just a little less powerful then the special .50 cal you unlock 1st.

Yeah, I read an article that mentioned the special unique sniper isn't silenced, so I figure I'll use the silenced one that's less powerful.

I prefer stealth also, but man that AMR sure packs a punch !! :wink:

Also there is not a ton of power missing between the AMR and the normal Z93, so it should be fine just running with the silent Z93

One small gripe - I wish after you killed enemies/animals that it would leave an "X" on the mini-map (think Red Dead Redemption) so when you go to loot/skin, it's easier to locate them.

100% agree....I've almost lost a quality loot in the grass because it blended in too well.

I'm just amazed at how fun everything is. They fixed the annoying things from FC2 and made it better. So glad I didn't wait on this one and fell victim to my desires lol. It was either this or Hitman and I made a great choice!

1st, everyone in this thread sucks.
2nd I may run out in a bit and pick this up.

Only games I'm playing right now are Madden, ZombiU and Scribblenauts. Game sounds like it should be a good long play on top of that is it seems really good.

Think I'm going PC. Looks like there may already be a mod that allows AI and vehicles in MP maps.
Plus I see there's a mod to remove all the Hud stuff...

Picked this up a couple of days ago.
Very good game.
I like the fact that you really can't run 'n gun right off the bat and you need to use stealth, cover and distance for multiple targets.
Also like that you can't just carry 1,494 bullets for each weapon.(I actually wish it was even tighter)

Good early winter pick up!

I really like that there are mods to remove all the clutter. Looking at some now that:

Disable icons of enemies on the minimap (Another one removes minimap I believe)

Hardcore - disable icons of enemies, relics, cars, boats, gliders, plants, treasures and alarm on the minimap
P.S. the main map are still visible, but the mini-map them now not)

Downloaded a compilation Mod:

4 KyodanXD Objective icon removal
5 object blinking removal by tom.solo
6 Wallhack removal by KyodanXD (This removes the ability to see the outline of enemy through walls I believe..)

The object blinking is almost required until they find a way to see things killed on the map. Especially killing animals since the bodies blend so well with the grass and environment.

I roll with the Silenced Pistol w/ Extended Mags, Silenced Sniper w/ Long Range Scope, Flame Thrower, and Extended Mags Assault Rifle (Second one in the list, forget what its called).

Well hopefully I can get some play in today. Got to be about 2am before I was done wrapping gifts and was able to start relaxing more.
I did download the new drivers last night so I'm ready on that front...
Can't wait to see how she plays.
