After buying a weapon is it free if you swap it out? I can apparently only carry 1 gun, i bought a bow but was doing a hunting mission and it made me swap out with a shotgun.

So me and the wife just went to pick this title up. I grabbed it off the shelf and brought it to the counter. She had her purse and we share the same account so she was going to pay for it. Guy asks for my ID and I don't have it on me so I tell her to show hers (we do it all the time, i'm 26 she's 25).

Guy refuses to sell her the game because it's for me. I ask how a 10 year old can come in and grab COD and give it to his mom to buy but I can't let my wife pay for a game. We leave to go candle shopping and I went to pick the car up so she could guy buy the game for herself.

Anyways, he ended up selling it after my wife had him call the district manager. Can't wait to sit down and play after this wacky event. -.-

I can honestly say that I have never, nor have I ever seen anyone else get carded for a video game. I have seen 12 year old kids at GS buy COD and other games like that without so much as a blink from the guy behind the counter.

Yeah, once you buy it or unlock it with radio tower you can go to the fast travel lockers and re-equip it through there for free. That's also where you can buy weapon upgrades (scopes, extended mags, etc) depending on what the weapon supports.

Skyboxer, let us know what you think of the editor. I've seen a few youtube vids of the single player AI type ones and they look cool.

My future father in law is in town starting late tonight through Monday, so probably won't have much time to play or check out user created maps.

I'm hoping some awesome people online create some worlds that are fun to try and clear.

Yeah, once you buy it or unlock it with radio tower you can go to the fast travel lockers and re-equip it through there for free. That's also where you can buy weapon upgrades (scopes, extended mags, etc) depending on what the weapon supports.

I left to go see the Dr (its like the second mission?) and i did another radio tower but when i look at my map the old section i was at is gone. Like i cant see where the hunting growns are.

Just the opposite here at our GS. Not only do they card but even when parents are in etc.. They always say "its a mature game with violence etc... Are you ok with that?"
And I mean every time a mature game is sold....

Weapon wheel is crafting...you need to collect the pelts for the holster upgrades. More ammo is other pouches, more syringes, etc. All collecting the pelts you need (see the pause menu Crafting section for more info).

I don't know about the radio tower...once you clear it that area should always be visible....does it show that tower as available to go to? Maybe it didn't save correctly?

I've heard Skyrim with guns.

Its more like Red Dead with automatic guns and in a jungle. Easily one the top 10 games I've ever played. Instant classic

I don't know about the radio tower...once you clear it that area should always be visible....does it show that tower as available to go to? Maybe it didn't save correctly?

Cool, ill start crafting today. I just got to the gym ill check when i get home about the save. Thing is i dont even know where i was. I think i remember having to go west for the Dr mission though. Even the small village you get saved at in the beginning isnt on my map. Im playing on hard idk if that factor in.

Is this game as good as the reviews? I had literally no interest in it until a couple of weeks ago when the reviews started coming out.

Any game it can be compared to?

If you liked Red Dead, you'll LOVE this game. Instant classic IMO

Nope,I've played roughly 20 hours,and haven't had a single issue.

I am having a problem with the saves.

It auto-saves....but when I choose to save(not in mission...) it only gives me the choice to overwrite SAVE1 and will not let me save in either of the two other slots.
PC Steam version.

Seriously though dude...the single player portion of this game is simply amazing,and imo shouldn't be missed.

As a side note (especially for you Open) I played some more MP last night,and had no issues...I was actually surprised I didn't have issues finding a game either (tdm). I then proceeded to get my *** royally kicked,but I had an absolute blast.

I have the disk version and it does the same thing. Looks like despite having 3 slots it only uses 1....
