From everything I've read on UBI, the sandbox mode with bots is just the editor. Plenty of people complaining about it.

That totally sucks and makes no sense...
What was the point of having an editor have the ability to use bots and vehicles if the only place you can "use them" is in the editor?

What were they thinking...

100% disagree. I've been to a couple of towers in which I had to kill infantry as well as vehicle guards patrolling the area.

Well I finished the game but I haven't seen a single tower that was guarded by enemy NPC. (Well there were two towers on the second island that were guarded but they don't attack you because how story is set up. I don't want to spoil anyone so I stop here about that. )

AREA being guarded and running into patrolling vehicles Yes I see that everywhere until you take back flagged enemy post, you will always run into enemy NPCs in those areas. But tower being guarded doesn't happen really. They are simple climb the ladder mission with no puzzle or anything to solve.

I'm still on the 1st Island,and have already seen what you said you haven't,and it didn't have anything to do with story missions,so I'm not sure what to tall ya.

so far im really impressed with this game. after reading through this thread i went and picked this up and its awesome. first time swimming i was attacked by a gator and i let out a scream loud enough for my gf to come in and proceed to laugh at me lol.. some of the stuff you see just exploring is pretty cool. i can see myself spending alot of time just checking out all parts of the island.

Haven't been able to play this game in over a week as I have been out west in California the last 5 days taking care of a family matter but I was glad to see that most are enjoying this game. Keep the impressions coming

I hadn't even heard of this game until I stumbled on this thread. I can't believe with the impressions given this game only has 7 pages of banter on it here.
Anyway so I hadn't heard about this game, read some stuff here, looked around the web and went ahead and ordered it. It was between this a M.E.trilogy. I gambled figuring ME trilogy would go an sale sometime before or after christmas. So we'll see. But as it is I can't wait to check this game out from reading the impressions here.

Shoots cage releasing tiger. Tiger kills bad guy. Tiger runs after dog, dog runs after me in a house. I kill dog then get mauled to death by a tiger. Awesome

So I woke up this morning and started off with multiplayer first. Played for quite a few hours, it is very fun. I'm level 17 or so, find myself using the MP5 with the red dot the most.

I played with the same batch of guys for hours on end, I really sucked early on but I kinda got the hang of it and eventually had a few 3 kill streaks going from game to game, never had more than 3 in a row though.

Anyone using the bow as their secondary? I never used the pistol and once I opened up the ability to have a RPG as a secondary to my MP5 that's all I've been using.

Anyone else use the shotguns as well? I opened up 2 of them but haven't tried either of em'.

I've went through it with a couple of friends and just started going through it a 2nd time on insane. Its a lot of fun with a good group, but on insane you really need to have teamwork.

Also I dig the .50 cal sniper rifle, blowing up jeeps with one shot or sending pirates flying 5 yards.

The tiger wandered in to the camp I was outside the camp using the camera to see how many piretes I had to deal with. Tiger clears the camp and then disappears.

This game has it all.

Finally got to play a little of this tonight for the first time... loved it.
