Re: ARMA III
Oh my God yes...
I just found both a single player and a 5 man COOP mission based on the original "Red Dawn" from the 80s.
Gonna try it out now.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: ARMA III
Good run tonight Phobia. We might've died every game but it was our first run together! lol
Lesson to be learned guys: ALWAYS check your damn scope to see if it can get night vision.. our last mission, I had a scope that did not allow night vision, therefore, I was shooting blindly.. (On second thought, maybe it was more accurate...LOL)Comment

Re: ARMA III
Ok guys,
I got up extra early this morning before work to run some tests on whats causing the lock up. After 3 hours of painstakingly removing file after file then launching the game and testings again. I literally got down till I had removed every mod and it was still causing it. Finally I narrowed it down to the most unlikely suspect, the cpp file and image which displays on the menu for the loaded mod. Evidently they changed the "call".
I'm in the process of fixing this issue and also installing the new CBA which fixes the errors that are being thrown on launch since the patch. Before the end of the day I will have the new fixed @OSPack.
One side note, the patch is incredible!!!
- New Recoil - AMAZING and random enough to feel very realistic
- New Sounds - WOW! I'm blown away what the new sounds sound like with the Enhanced Soundscape mod. The snaps of a round going by, sound insane. Plus the feeling of distance in the gun fire makes for improved immersion.
- Weapon Resting - Ok not only does it work amazing, BUT it works perfectly even with AGM and mods installed.

Re: ARMA III
Ok Guys,
I got everything worked out. We got good news, bad news, and worse news.
The Good - The OSPack has been updated with the new CBA Version, I've fixed the .cpp and .paa file issues which were locking up the server, and we should be good to go with no issues. I'm having a slight logo issue happening where the logo color no longer appears and the logo turns flat grey. I've searched and looks like its random with no known causes/fixes other than to reconvert the picture and hope for the best. In our case the logo doesn't matter so I'm packaging everything for delivery. This way you can get back to playing! I will post link as soon as its ready, within next hour.
The Bad - We have to drop AGM. There is several issues involved with it and the new patch. First is the AGM_FirControlSystem.pbo, it causes lock ups in game. The second is the bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Van_01_civil_transport_base_F error, which prevents missions from starting online. Lastly, the resting.pbo conflicts with the new weapon resting .pbo
The Worse - AGM is not longer being developed so no fix is coming for it. Its essentially dead now. Instead the AGM team, CSE team, and ACE team have teamed up to create ACE3 which will replace CSE & AGM. Basically ACE 3 will be the successor to the ARMA 2 ACE2 mod. Why this is bad, because AGM is dead and ACE3 is still being developed so we won't have any AI mods running.
You can read about ACE 3 here.

Installation Instructions:
View correct readme.txt if you are doing a update or a first time install.
Other Notes:
First, Enhanced Soundscape mod sounds incredible with new weapon sounds so we will continue to run vanilla sounds instead of Dragonfyre at this time.
Next, further testing needs to be done on the mod included weapons to make sure we don't have any patch issues with the weapons plus new features like resting, bipods, and recoil.
Lastly, Missions seem to be having some scripting issues since the patch. So testing each mission individually will need to be done to determine which ones are/are not affected by the recent patch.

Re: ARMA III
Quick question, how do you heal yourself when hurt? In AGM, I could bandage myself and give a shot. Vanilla allow this in any way?Comment

Re: ARMA III
Just found another bug. Those that downloaded off the last post. This is how to fix it without redownloading everything all over again.
In windows explore go here.
Arma3\@OSTactPack\addons\
Delete in there
L_ES.pbo
L_ES.pbo.L_ES.bisign
Now go to
Arma3\@OSTactPack\keys\
Delete in there
L_ES.bikey
For some reason when the Sound Enhance mod is enabled it causes AT launchers to disappear from the game. So no one can carry a AT launcher or load a loadout which has a AT launcher.
I will fix the Pack for next couple days until we figure out everything that needs to be pulled out. Breaking **** with a patch sucksComment

Wait, so no sound mod now? Dang.Comment

Re: ARMA III
Yup, me and paper found some other issues also. Almost everything seems tied to being a problem somewhere with the patch.
Ones we encountered last night.
1) LAxman Enhanced Sound Mod causing AT launchers to be unusable
2) Something to do with the CBA is causing scripting issues in missions. Standing at the spawn with no way to progress the mission trigger sucks or sitting in a helo that won't take off.
3) Unable to spawn, sitting at the mission loadout screen but unable to go any further.
4) Unable to switch weapons, stuck in animation where I couldn't take out my main rifle.
I THINK ST_HUD, ST_Stamina, and ST_GI are all working correctly but out side of that, I think the Modded uniforms and weapons are causing some issues. Blastcore on some peoples machines is causing some color issues, like purple tracers. Finally CBA while just updated and featuring no erros there is still scripting issues tied with the missions.
Now this could not be anything with CBA that they can fix, it might be tied completely to the mission maker and them being forced to go back and edit mission after the patch for it to work correctly. We can all guess how many might do that, so instead running vanilla could fix it, it might not either.
So from this point forward until they can get the mod issues worked out since the update we will be running stock vanilla and trying to find newly created missions AFTER the patch.
Edit: After reading through the BIS Forums, it is almost comical what this patch has done to the mods. Damn near every single mod is broken right now after the patch. Sweet markers mod for example which is just a map marker mod. Nothing real major, complete system crash if its enabled. Task force radio is currently broken with the new CBA. Blastcore is broken and all sound mods including Dragonfyre are broken.
Essentially we are stuck with the stock game for at least several weeks I'm assuming. It sounds like ACE 3 has been in development and they knew the changes & impact this patch would have. They seem to have been working with the developement team ahead of this, so that should be a sooner than later fix.Last edited by Phobia; 04-10-2015, 10:48 AM.Comment

Re: ARMA III
The patch has screwed my controllers right stick sensitivity as it is warp speed and nothing I have done in the calibration menu has slowed it down. I have tried new profile, recalibration of the controller, etc. only thing left to do is to reinstall the drivers for the controller, but I am sure that will not work as all other games work fine besides Arma.Comment
