I think he is asking for the reasons behind peoples decisions and such.

Well, I imagine people are making their decisions based on the skill trees that are now available. I decided to go with Zero, as his sniping skill trees is ridiculously awesome.

Although the Commando's gunpowder tree is pretty nasty looking as well.

Why? I am trying to decide which class to go with and I am just curious as to why people are picking the classes they have decided upon.

That turrent becomes pretty bad *** it looks like and the Gunpowder skill tree looks awesome.

I'm thinking Siren again because that was what I played in the first Borderlands. That, or I'll play a ninja because ninjas are still cool.

I'm going to be the Commando, I always like the insane clip size and fire rate that you get when you level him up, with certain weapons it's just unbelievably powerful against the comp....

The turret doesn't seem to have any strictly co-op and support abilities

Yeah, the commando is enticing. I love the sound of the longbow/nuke combination with the turret. Good way to blow apart a good chunk of baddies before heading into an area.

Borderlands 2's Mechromancer Detailed and Dated

The Mechromancer class for Borderlands 2 will be available to download from October 16, 2K Games has confirmed.

The downloadable tinkerer, who Gearbox has revealed is called Gaige, will be free for those who pre-order but will otherwise cost $9.99/£7.99/800 MS Points.

I like the critical shot stuff but a lot of his skills seem to be melee related. I am a gun guy. Not sure how fun melee will be in this game. I am leaning towards either Commando (Axton) or Gunzerker (Salvador) after checking out the skill trees. When I played Borderlands, I used the sniper rifle a great deal. I assume you can still do that with any class you choose...

BTW, do the different characters have different physical attributes, such as strength, health, etc.? I have not been following the game as closely as I should...

Zer0's has a whole tree dedicated to sniping, a whole tree dedicated to melee, and then a tree that improves Deception which can be used in either style. You won't be able to max them all, with all characters you'll have to plan your build.

There no inherent character attributes. Health levels up with character level and everything else is gear dependent or can be modified by spending upgrade points given to you from your Badass Rank. Badass points are profile wide so if you spend one on health % increase all characters will gain a health increase. There is no limit to Baddass Rank so you can keep increasing your characters stats.

That's a good point, skills can effectively increase health. I think all classes also have some form of self healing skill now which they didnt all have in 1.
