I never finished the 1st one. That and XCOM is coming = I'd never finish this one either.
Possibly grab it way down the line if it interests me enough to get it.

Well I would but the postal office got delayed. My game is going to be there all day Sunday and I'll get it Monday. Its so stupid about no mail sundays....Oh well, I only paid 55 bucks for it.

Is there gonna be a demo for this game? I've heard good things, but kinda want to try it before I invest...not so much the $ (although that too), but more the time. I'm kind of OCD, so if I get a game I feel compelled to put in a bunch of hours, even if I only kind of enjoy it. Fallout 3 was the perfect example of that...if you asked me if I liked it, I wouldn't say yes, but I put 100 hours into that thing. Weird, I know....

That is my problem with Borderlands 2. Enjoyed the first one but there are just too many sports games/other games I'm playing. Doesn't help that Torchlight 2 come out the same day here.

Torchlight 2 releases the 20th, borderlands releases the 18th.

Luckily for me I invested so many hours and had so many fun times with it that getting the second one isn't even a question. I'm goin to try to slip by the post office first thing in the morning and try to pick up my package before it goes out on the truck to be delivered.

No, you might as well just play 2. It's a great game, but like you said the story is nonexistant and Borderlands 2 looks like it improves on everything gameplay-wise over the original.
