COD Classic-only during peak hours one game will be up
COD 2-a little more than Classic but still can be some waiting
COD 3-always a bunch of rooms to join...loyal following
COD 4-same...modding is down
COD 5-same....modding is down
COD 6-huge community

etc...

Best COD game to date no doubt, and so much better than the first black ops it's not even close. Just having a blast online. Definitely my GOTY.

How is the first mw? Is it still a mod fest? I might buy all the cods for campaigns if the multiplayer is playable since this game is a waste.

Not at all. Will you run in to a modder here and there? Of course, but you just block and find another game.

The modding rate is slightly higher in COD 5, but still avoidable.

As much as a bitch about this game I like the set up.

Only thing making me hate it is Lag Comp. I experience it so damn much and it just kills it for me. The advantage of seeing someone first is just to huge. If I know someone is coming I crouch and aim at the door way, then they come through and kill me instantly. On the kill cam they come through the doorway, aim at me then shoot. Like wtf?

Wow exactly how I feel with everything you mentioned. Game is setup to be played only one way. I only play this game when my boys ask me to play with them. I will be playing black ops 1 today to get a real cod fix.

I also roll on MW 1 , 2 , and 3 if anyone wants to play.

This game forces you to run and gun and play like a bat out of hell. My play style is like a half and half. Usually In Cod I like hold spawn points (not sit in dark corners) and shut 50% of the map down and run and gun on a few maps. It's hard to respect people skills if half of your kills is coming from spawning behind a team multiple times a game. If they really wanted to make there fans happy every new map that is release they should release a old black ops map to go with it. Last but not least for a company to be on the top of the charts in selling games the lag and server connection is inexcusable

Lag compensation has killed this game for me. One player/team is always going to benefit from it.

I just played a game of CTF on drone. There's a guy on the other team with a 2 bar connection the entire game. And yet he's 19-2. Everyone else in the game has a negative k/d ratio.

I go into a hallway at the bottom of a set of stairs, I see the guy that's 19-2 and start shooting. All of a sudden the kill cam pops up. It shows this guy run down the stairs, get behind me, and knife me. All before a single bullet came out of my gun.

And that run and gun style makes these small maps feel even smaller. You can easily get from one end of the map to the other in less than 10 seconds. That's why you're seeing the spawn points constantly getting flipped.

Black Ops II is busy collecting dust on my shelves.

Not trying to bash, and I'm glad others are enjoying this game but this wasn't even close to being the best COD in the series. I know were always quick to throw that label on something new, but it would be wrong to do so in this case.

Maps were very one dimensional, and aside from Turbine, leaned totally in favor of close quarters combat. No balance.

Also, attachments might have been as overpowered as ever. Mainly the Laser Sight/Long Barrel combo on any sub machine gun/shotgun.

Also, no Sleight of Hand? WTF

And lastly, for those that did experience it, Lag Compensation might have been the worst it's ever been. Made the game virtually unplayable. And I thought that MW3 was bad.

Like I said, glad others are enjoying it, but this thing hasn't seen the light of day for over 2 weeks now, and that's fine with me.

Agree that Laser Sight + Long Barrel should be an incompatible attachment combo similar to how Long Barrel/Silencer does not work, because they are both Barrel attachments.

Also I agree that it's frustrating not having a Faster Reload Perk, instead having to use up an Attachment slot on Fast Mag, when there are other attachments I prefer to use. I much preferred the Infinity Ward's series' system of Pro Perks, and Gun Attachments.

I know people are going to disagree with me on this and say that the new 10 point customization system is brilliant, but I preferred the more simplistic, basic approach to Class set up. I feel like with this 10 point system, it gets a tad bit complicated at times trying to come up with your ideal set up as you're always having to weigh things out, min/max each choice and you always end up having to give up something you need like a Secondary, a favorite attachment, a Tactical Grenade etc... Feels like you're trying to Gear up a Mage in World of Warcraft or something lol. When I play shooters I want to just grab my favorite gun and just jump in.

It's really dynamic IMO. But some matches you are getting two shot from a pistol from 100 meters by some kid with $20/month DSL.

If they invented a smarter server system we would not need something like that, but it was the main reason MW3 was horrible to play. They will probably flush it out with patches in future but it's still a pointless feature.

Idk if they'd "flush it out". It closes the gap between good and bad players. They lose a tiny fraction of good players but gain more casual fans and longevity of their time since any paint chip eating 12 year old can run with a smg/laser and bad internet and go .500

I'll be returning to Modern Warfare 2.

I just don't have fun in Black Ops. I feel like I suck. The lag is beautiful and I feel like every time I shoot my gun, all I get is hit markers. And ohhh, how I miss the guns on Modern Warfare.

So I'll be playing MW2
