It's likely that you're spending too much on services. What's your current population sitting at?

I think it was around 150K when I left. I'm spending about 20K/hr on my electronics industry buildings, that is where the majority of my spending is going, but it's also the biggest money maker, so it more than covers my expenses.

I set myself up pretty well last night, earning around $18K Simoleans an hour so I left my city running last night. Holy CRAP do things ever go downhill if you're not paying attention! I had to bulldoze over 200 buildings when I woke up. Crime was everywhere. Many buildings were littered with graffiti. My whole city turned into a slum!

Turns out, that's what happens when you have a city of over 400,000 people and you run out of water. I do have over $23,000,000 Simoleans now though, so I'm thinking I'm going to bulldoze the whole thing and try my hand at a circular road themed city.

How did you get over 400,000 people? I didn't think the maps were big enough.

I'm at 140k and still have lots if areas that are low density and open because of my raw ore mines.

I can't get my city beyond 20k...every time I have played the game I've had it lock up my computer. The screen goes black and the music freezes. The only thing I can do is a hard reset.

So glad I spent $75 on a game I can't play.

I can't get my city beyond 20k...every time I have played the game I've had it lock up my computer. The screen goes black and the music freezes. The only thing I can do is a hard reset.

How well do you take care of your PC? Are all drivers up to date(mobo/audio/video/etc)? Have you tried uninstalling, deleting all traces of the game, and reinstalling? Googling that specific issue?..could be related to one of your pieces of hardware and is a known issue

PS..i hate how ATI handles drivers for their cards.

All of the drivers are up to date.

It runs all of the maintenance stuff once a week (Drive clean up, defrag, anti-virus scan).

I may reinstall it. I've notice the issue has been more pronounced after the last update.

So how can I get cost on Police down? I spend about 9k a day on my police force and crime is still a problem! I have two stations and one precinct. My precinct and one of my stations are maxed out on cars. Any ideas?

I am currently 11k in the red every hour, thankfully though my alloy and processors sales more than make of the difference.

What's your education situation looking like? The higher the education level, the lower the number of criminals, thus the less need for such a police presence.

3.5 of 5 or 4. I can't remember the total possible but I'm at 3 or 3 1/2. How are some ways to improve my education level faster?

You should still be in Springfield since you're using the same account, and according to the region map, you still are.

Make sure you're on the right server and it should be under the Join Game tab.
